Kumiko Ōsugi
is a J-pop artist from Tokyo. In 1964 she recorded a song with Crown Records using the pseudonym . The first song to be released under her real name was , the opening theme for the '' Attack No. 1'' anime. She went on to perform theme songs for many other anime, including ''Doraemon'', ''Aim for the Ace!'', ''Araiguma Rascal'', '' Flanders no Inu'', and '' Oz no Mahōtsukai''. She is referred to by fans and the Japanese press as the "Queen of Anime Song" and is considered to be one of the "Four Heavenly Kings and Queens of Anison" (''アニソン四天王''), along with Ichiro Mizuki, Isao Sasaki, and Mitsuko Horie. The opening theme to Heidi, Girl of the Alps is often mis-attributed to Ōsugi. It was actually performed by Kayo Ishū :ja:伊集加代, a studio singer. Ichiro Mizuki
, better known by his stage name , was a Japanese singer, lyricist, composer, voice actor and actor best known for his work on theme songs for anime and tokusatsu. For over 50 years, he had recorded over 1,200 songs for Japanese film, television, video and video games. He was referred to by fans and fellow performers alike as the of the ''anison'', or anime music genre. He produced the singing duo Apple Pie since 1990 and created the Anison band JAM Project in 2000. Biography Career Mizuki was born in Setagaya, Tokyo. In January 1968, he signed to the Nippon Columbia label and released his first single called "Kimi ni sasageru Boku no Uta", composed by Kanae Wada. is an action-adventure anime television series created by Tatsunoko Productions in partnership with Topcraft. The series was broadcast on Fuji TV and various other local stations across Japan from October 3, 1976, to September 11, 1977, and lasted 50 half-hour episodes. ''A Dog of Flanders'' is an 1872 novel by English author Marie Louise de la Ramée published with her pseudonym "Ouida". It is about a Flemish boy named Nello and his dog, Patrasche, and is set in Antwerp. In Japan, Korea, Russia, Ukraine and the Philippines, the novel has been an extremely popular children's classic for decades and has been adapted into several Japanese films and anime. Since the 1980s, the Belgian board of tourism caught on to the phenomenon and built two monuments honoring the story to please East-Asian tourists. is a Japanese magical girl anime television series consisting in 25 episodes. It was directed by Takeshi Tamiya and Masayuki Akehi, and it was first broadcast on TV Asahi (then NET) in 1973.
