Kumiko Ogura
is a Japanese badminton player, affiliated with the Sanyo Electric team. Born in Kawagoe, Mie, Ogura started playing badminton at the age of eight. When she was in grade 1 in Shitennoji Senior High School, she entered the Japanese junior team. After graduating from high school in 2002, she joined the Sanyo Electric team. She partnered with Reiko Shiota, and they became the women's doubles runner-up at the 2005 Asian Championships. The two won their first world grand prix title at the 2005 Denmark Open. In 2006, she won the bronze medal at the Doha 2006 Asian Games, after being defeated by Yang Wei and Zhang Jiewen in the semifinals. She also won the women's doubles bronze at the 2007 World Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reiko Shiota
is a Japanese badminton player, affiliated with the Sanyo electric team. Shiota was the bronze medallist at the 2007 World Championships in the women's doubles event partnered with Kumiko Ogura. She also won the silver and bronze medals at the 2006 Asian Games in the women's team and doubles respectively. Shiota competed at the Olympic Games two times, in 2008 Beijing in the women's doubles event with Ogura, and in 2012 London in the mixed doubles event partnered with Shintaro Ikeda. Kamilla Rytter Juhl (born 23 November 1983) is a retired Danish badminton player. Juhl is an Olympic silver medalist, World Championship gold medalist and seven times European champion as well. Career Rytter Juhl played as a left-handed doubles specialist. Juhl enjoyed a successful mixed doubles career with Thomas Laybourn, winning the 2009 BWF World Championships and two European titles in 2006 and 2010. Lena Frier Kristiansen (born 12 March 1983) is a badminton player from Denmark. In 2001, she won the silver and bronze medals at the European Junior Championships in the mixed team and doubles respectively. The BWF World Ranking is the official ranking of the Badminton World Federation for badminton players who participate in tournaments sanctioned by Badminton World Federation. It is used to determine the qualification for the World Championships and Summer Olympic Games, as well as BWF World Tour tournaments. Seedings of draws at all BWF-sanctioned tournaments are conducted using the BWF World Ranking.
