Kumari (1952 Film)
''Kumari'' is a 1952 Indian Tamil-language film directed by R. Padmanaban, starring M. G. Ramachandran, Madhuri Devi and Sri Ranjani (Junior). Plot The princess Kumari, while travelling in a horse carriage, meets with an accident when the horses run wild, and is rescued by a man named Vijayan. The two fall in love and the princess gives him a signet and invites him to her palace. Problems arise when the king wishes to get the princess married and the queen Chandravali wishes to have her married to her useless brother Sahaaran. Madhuri Devi
Madhuri Devi (19 September 1927 – June 1990) was a lead actress in Tamil films from the late 1940s until the 1950s. She has paired opposite leading heroes like M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar and M. G. R and known for acting in the films ''Manthiri Kumari'', ''Marmayogi,'' (1951), and ''Devaki'' (1951). Early life Madhuri Devi was born on 19 September 1927, as Clara, at Royapuram, Madras (Chennai) to Soosai Mudhaliyar, Manoranjidham. Prior to acting in cinema, She stayed North Madras and acted in Christian dramas. She has the ability to act in three roles in the same drama. Sriranjani Jr
Sriranjani (22 February 1927 – 27 April 1974) was an Indian actress active in Telugu and Tamil films. She was the younger sister of Sriranjani (actress), Sriranjani. She is known mainly for her tragedy roles particularly as the long-suffering wife. Life in Brief Sriranjani was born in Murikipudi village of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. A happy ending is an ending of the plot of a work of fiction in which almost everything turns out for the best for the main protagonists and their sidekicks, while the main villains/antagonists are dead/defeated. In storylines where the protagonists are in physical danger, a happy ending mainly consists of their survival and successful completion of the quest or mission; where there is no physical danger, a happy ending may be lovers consummating their love despite various factors which might have thwarted it.
