Kullu
Kullu is a municipal council town that serves as the administrative headquarters of the Kullu district of the states and union territories of India, Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is located on the banks of the Beas River in the Kullu Valley about north of the airport at Bhuntar, Bhuntar, Kullu. Kullu Valley is a broad open valley formed by the Beas River between Manali, Himachal Pradesh, Manali and Larji. This valley is known for its temples and its hills covered with pine and Cedrus deodara, deodar forest and sprawling apple orchards. The course of the Beas river, originating from Beas Kund presents a succession of magnificent, clad with forests of deodar, towering above trees of pine on the lower rocky ridges brings the most out of this magnificent town. The Kulu (russian: Кулу) is a river in Khabarovsk Krai and Magadan Oblast, Russia. It is a right tributary of the Kolyma river, which forms at the confluence of the Kulu and the Ayan-Yuryakh. The name of the river originated in the Chukchi language, Chukchi word ''kuul'' — meaning "deep river". The Kulu flows through desolate territory; the only settlement by the river is Kulu (Magadan Oblast), Kulu, a village which had a population of 1,345 inhabitants in 1977, but which was abolished in 2008. In 2017 it was revived by two families who resetlled the abandoned village and established a farm. There were 56 inhabitants in 2021. Course The source of the river is in the eastern part of the Suntar Khayata Range, in Khabarovsk Krai. The river flows roughly northeastwards across mountainous terrain, then it bends southwards and describes a wide arch northwards. Kulū Isfandiyār ( fa, کلو اسفندیار) was the leader of the Sarbadars of Sabzewar from 1346 until around 1347. Career Kulu Isfandiyar was a military commander under Wajih ad-Din Mas'ud and was one of his supporters. In 1346 was installed as head of state by Khwaja Shams al-Din 'Ali, the head of the pro-dervish party that had just overthrown and executed Muhammad Aytimur Muhammad Aytimur (died August or September 1346) was the leader of the Sarbadars of Sabzewar from 1343 until his death. Kulu Ferreira
Petrus Stephanus 'Kulu' Ferreira (born 17 March 1959) is a South African former rugby union player. Playing career Ferreira grew up in Kroonstad in the Free State. He represented the Northern Free State schools team at the annual Craven Week tournament in 1976 and in 1977, when he also captained the side. After school he enrolled at Stellenbosch University where he played for the University's different age–group teams. Ferreira made his senior provincial debut for Western Province in 1981 and played for the union until 1985. In September 1985, Ferreira moved to France, where he played for the rugby club in Marmande. He returned to South Africa and the Northern Free State in the middle of 1986, where he continued his rugby career. Ferreira made his debut for the Springboks on 20 October 1984 against the South American Jaguars at Loftus Versveld in Pretoria.
