Kujawiak Włocławek
Kujawiak Włocławek was a Polish football and athletics club based in Włocławek, Poland. Its claim to fame is that the famous Polish singer Maryla Rodowicz and international javelin thrower Zygmunt Jałoszyński used to actively train at the club. Marcin Klatt and Rezső Patkoló has played for the football team. They shared a rivalry with neighbours Włocłavia Włocławek. History The club was founded in 1911 making it one of the oldest clubs in Poland. The club had a very successful period in the club's history in the 2000s, especially in the 2005-2006 season when after a period in the second flight of the football pyramid and a marvellous Cup run where they reached the quarter-final, beating two top-flight teams Cracovia and Pogoń Szczecin, before being eventually knocked out by another top-flight team Wisła Płock. Kuyavia ( pl, Kujawy; german: Kujawien; la, Cuiavia), also referred to as Cuyavia, is a historical region in north-central Poland, situated on the left bank of Vistula, as well as east from Noteć River and Lake Gopło. Pogoń Szczecin Spółka Akcyjna, commonly referred to as Pogoń Szczecin (), is a Polish professional football club, based in Szczecin, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, which plays in the Ekstraklasa, the top tier of the national football league system. History The club was founded by Poles from Lwów (now Lviv, Ukraine), who had been transferred west after the Soviet annexation of Poland's eastern territories in 1945. II liga (Druga Liga, ), currently named eWinner II liga due to sponsorship reasons by eWinner, is a Polish football league that sits at the third tier of the Polish football league system. Until the end of the 2007–08 season ''II Liga'' referred to a league at the 2nd tier, although this changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the top level league in Poland. Zawisza Bydgoszcz () is a sports club from Bydgoszcz, Poland, founded in 1946. Its name commemorates a legendary Polish 15th-century knight, Zawisza Czarny (Zawisza the Black). The club holds many sections: football, track and field athletics, boxing, rowing, canoeing, weightlifting, gymnastics, shooting, and parachuting ones.
