Kubo Gap
In atomic physics, the kubo gap is the average spacing that exists between consecutive energy levels. The units of measure are meV or millielectron volts. It varies with an inverse relationship to the nuclearity. As the material in question is viewed from the bulk and atomic levels, we can see that the kubo gap goes from a smaller to larger value respectively. As the kubo gap increases there is also a decrease in the density of states located at the Fermi level. The kubo gap can also have an effect on the properties associated with the material. It is possible to control the kubo gap which will then cause the system to become metallic or nonmetallic. The electrical conductivity and magnetic susceptibility are also both influenced by the kubo gap and vary according to the relative size of the kubo gap. Kantō Kubō
(also called , , or ) was a title equivalent to ''shōgun'' assumed by Ashikaga Motouji after his nomination to ''Kantō kanrei'', or deputy shōgun for the Kamakura-fu, in 1349.Kokushi Daijiten (1983:542) Motouji transferred his original title to the Uesugi family, which had previously held the hereditary title of , and would thereafter provide the ''Kantō kanrei''. The Ashikaga had been forced to move to Kyoto, abandoning Kamakura and the Kantō region, because of the continuing difficulties they had keeping the Emperor and the loyalists under control (see the article Nanboku-chō period). Motouji had been sent by his father, shōgun Ashikaga Takauji, precisely because the latter understood the importance of controlling the Kantō region and wanted to have an Ashikaga ruler there, but the administration in Kamakura was from the beginning characterized by its rebelliousness. The shōgun's idea never really worked and actually backfired. After Motouji, all the ''kubō'' wanted p ... Lit Kubo
Lit Motors Inc. is a San Francisco-based company that designed conceptual two-wheeled vehicles, including a fully electric, gyroscopically stabilized vehicle. Founded by Daniel K. Kim in 2010, Lit Motors designed concepts for two-wheeled vehicles with a focus on innovative technologies. They have released information about two projects: the AEV (auto-balancing electric vehicle) often referred to as the "C-1" and the Kubo cargo scooter. The inspiration for Lit Motors came to Kim in 2003, when he was nearly crushed by a chassis while manually assembling a bio-diesel Land Rover Defender 90. Kim decided to "chop a car in half" to create what is now the C-1. Legal Issues Lit Motors has been sued twice by four early investors, resulting in approximately $300,000 in legal judgments against Lit Motors and an arrest order against Kim for failure to appear at court hearings related to these lawsuits. On January 7, 2020, a San Francisco court granted a motion assigning Lit Motor's US pa ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

In elementary school, he had already decided to become a manga artist, due to reading the manga ''Saint Seiya''. His first one-shot was "Ultra Unholy Hearted Machine", written for the ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' in 1996. He wrote his first manga '' Zombiepowder'', which was also published in ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' in 1999. It ran a short 27 chapters before being canceled in 2000. Green–Kubo Relations
The Green–Kubo relations ( Melville S. Green 1954, Ryogo Kubo 1957) give the exact mathematical expression for transport coefficients \gamma in terms of integrals of time correlation functions: :\gamma = \int_0^\infty \left\langle \dot(t) \dot(0) \right\rangle \;t. Thermal and mechanical transport processes Thermodynamic systems may be prevented from relaxing to equilibrium because of the application of a field (e.g. electric or magnetic field), or because the boundaries of the system are in relative motion (shear) or maintained at different temperatures, etc. This generates two classes of nonequilibrium system: mechanical nonequilibrium systems and thermal nonequilibrium systems. The standard example of an electrical transport process is Ohm's law, which states that, at least for sufficiently small applied voltages, the current ''I'' is linearly proportional to the applied voltage ''V'', : I = \sigma V.\, As the applied voltage increases one expects to see deviations from ... Ryogo Kubo
was a Japanese mathematical physicist, best known for his works in statistical physics and non-equilibrium statistical mechanics. Work In the early 1950s, Kubo transformed research into the linear response properties of near-equilibrium condensed-matter systems, in particular the understanding of electron transport and conductivity, through the Kubo formalism, a Green's function approach to linear response theory for quantum systems. In 1977 Ryogo Kubo was awarded the Boltzmann Medal ''for his contributions to the theory of non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, and to the theory of fluctuation phenomena''. He is cited particularly for his work in the establishment of the basic relations between transport coefficients and equilibrium time correlation functions: relations with which his name is generally associated.
