Adam Kuban
Adam Kuban (born 1974 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) was the editor and founding publisher of Slice NY, a weblog devoted to the subject of pizza. He was "one of the early single-subject food bloggers", according to Bloomberg. Raised in the suburbs of Kansas City, Kuban's father opened his own pizzeria in Kansas in the early 1980s but only lasted for a year and a half after Pizza Hut opened across the street. Kuban pursued a career in journalism, beginning as a copy editor for his college newspaper, the ''University Daily Kansan'' at the University of Kansas. Ali Hassan Kuban
Ali Hassan Kuban (1929, Gorta, Egypt – 2001) was a Nubian singer and bandleader. He was known as the "Captain" or (later) "Godfather" of Nubian music. Bob Kuban
Robert "Bob" Kuban (born August 19, 1940) is an American musician and bandleader. Career Kuban was born in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, and was graduated from the St. Louis Institute of Music. In 1964, he formed the group Bob Kuban and The In-Men. Kuban was both its drummer and the bandleader. The group was an eight-piece band with horns, somewhat of a throwback for the time, considering that the British Invasion, mounted primarily by guitar-based bands that had initially formed in the UK, was taking place during that period. Kuban was heavily influenced by Ike & Tina Turner, whom he would watch perform at Club Imperial in St. Louis before his band became regulars. He said, "I just loved the band so much... I mimicked a lot of the stuff that they did. We had the horn section in my band. When Ike and Tina Turner left, we were able to play there. We were there on Tuesday nights." Doğan Kuban
Doğan Kuban (10 April 1926 – 22 September 2021) was a Turkish architectural historian. Biography Kuban was born in Paris to a Kurdish family. He received his bachelor's degree in architecture from Istanbul Technical University (ITU). Shortly thereafter he started his academic career. In the 1960s and 1970s he spent time as a research fellow at the Dumbarton Oaks Research Library with a scholarship from Harvard University. He became a professor in 1965, and he retıred recently. Among his other work, he aided Professor Cecil L. Striker, of the University of Pennsylvania, in his scholarly restoration of the Kalenderhane Mosque in Istanbul. Kuban's urban history of Istanbul—one of the more complete diachronic histories of the city—is available in English as ''Istanbul: An Urban History. Lukáš Kubáň (born 22 June 1987) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a defender for III liga, group I club GKS Wikielec. Club career In June 2016, he joined Sandecja Nowy Sącz. On 11 August 2020, he signed a one-year contract with Polish fourth-tier III liga club Wisła Puławy. On 30 June, he rejoined Stomil Olsztyn, signing a one-year contract with an extension option.
