The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre ( ms, Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur), also known as the KL Convention Centre, is a convention and exhibition centre located in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) development in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The convention centre was the 2015 recipient of the AIPC innovation award. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it was used as a mass vaccination centre. Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) is a multipurpose development area in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. KLCC refers to the area within and surrounding the KLCC Park but the term has also been widely used by buildings nearby to the vicinity. Designed to be a city within a city, the 100-acre site hosts the tallest twin buildings in the world, the fourth tallest hotel in the world, a shopping mall, office buildings and several hotels. A public park and a mosque have also been built in the area and are open to everyone. Areas within KLCC is cooled via district cooling located on the property. The centre has a gross floor area of 143,191 square meters (1.5 million square feet), sprawling over a 13.3-acre prime land and a total of 484,376 square meters of exhibit space with ceilings as high as 36 meters making indoor sporting events feasible. Background Originally due to take place in February 2018 with tour dates in Australia and New Zealand, Carey rescheduled the tour to October 2018.
