Kseniya Moustafaeva
Kseniya Moustafaeva (born 8 June 1995 in Minsk, Belarus) is a French individual rhythmic gymnast of Belarusian origin. She is a 5-time French National all-around champion. Career Moustafaeva started gymnastics at 4 years of age. She and her mother, Svetlana moved to France in 2000. She has been member of the French national team since 2010. She won the silver in all-around in the 2011, 2012 French Nationals behind Delphine Ledoux. She competed at the 2012 London Olympics Test Event and finished 22nd, she did not qualify for the 2012 Olympics. In 2013, she competed in the World Cup and Grand Prix Series. She then competed at the 2013 European Championships. She won the bronze medal in all-around at the 2013 Mediterranean Games behind Greek gymnast Varvara Filiou. Rhythmic Gymnastics
Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport in which gymnasts perform on a floor with an apparatus: hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon. The sport combines elements of gymnastics, dance and calisthenics; gymnasts must be strong, flexible, agile, dexterous and coordinated. Rhythmic gymnastics is governed by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), which first recognized it as a sport in 1963. It became an Olympic sport in 1984, with an individual all-around event. The group all-around competition was added to the Olympics in 1996. At the international level, rhythmic gymnastics is a women-only sport. Maria Pavlovna Titova (russian: Мария Павловна Титова; born 19 August 1997) is a Russian retired individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2013 Grand Prix Final all-around silver medalist Career Junior Titova began to do gymnastics at the age of five when she was noticed by one RG coach on the street and invited to the gym. Katsiaryna Aliaksandraŭna Halkina ( be, Кацярына Аляксандраўна Галкіна; russian: Екатерина Александровна Галкина; born 25 February 1997) is a retired Belarusian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2018 European all-around bronze medalist. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, and finished 6th in the all-around final. Personal life Halkina had heart surgery in 2011 and missed 12 months of competition. She announced her retirement from rhythmic gymnastics in June 2021. The Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix is an annual competition of tournaments in rhythmic gymnastics open to athletes from all over the globe. The series consists of a number of stages, culminating in the final event, usually referred to as ''Grand Prix Final''. The Grand Prix circuit usually hosts some of the most watched yearly events in rhythmic gymnastics, frequently gathering some of the best gymnasts in the world. Varvara Filiou
Varvara Filiou (Greek: Βαρβάρα Φίλιου; born December 29, 1994, in Attiki, Greece) is a retired Greek individual rhythmic gymnast and coach. She is an eight-time (2008-2016) Greek National All-around Champion. She is one of Greece's most successful rhythmic gymnasts. Personal life Filiou's mother Eleonora Marinova is a former Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast and also competed at national level in Greece gymnastics. Filiou took up rhythmic gymnastics at age seven. 2012 Gymnastics Olympic Test Event
The 2012 Gymnastics Olympic Test Event took place between January 10 and January 18, 2012. The event featured the artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline disciplines. It qualified the last four artistic gymnastics teams for the 2012 Olympic Games, along with 34 individual female gymnasts and 27 individual male gymnasts selected through the all-around competition. Teams that finished 17th to 24th at the 2011 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were able to take two individuals to the test event. Teams that finished 1st to 8th were invited to send two individual gymnasts, but they were not candidates for individual spots.
