The Kryvyi Rih tramway network is part of the public transport system of Kryvyi Rih, city in Ukraine. The tram network serves as the backbone of the transit system, serving as part of the Kryvyi Rih Metrotram system. In operation since 1935, the Kryvyi Rih tram network is one of world's largest tram networks, operating on 88.1 kilometres of total route. As of 2014, it was composed of 13 lines. The system is operated by the Kryvyi Rih City Council under the supervision of the city community. On May 1, 2021 Kryvyi Rih became the first city in Ukraine to introduce free travel in public transport for its citizens. Kryvyi Rih ( uk, Криви́й Ріг , lit. "Curved Bend" or "Crooked Horn"), also known as Krivoy Rog (Russian: Кривой Рог) is the largest city in central Ukraine, the 7th most populous city in Ukraine and the 2nd largest by area. The T3 is a type of Czech tramcar produced by ČKD Tatra. A late-2000s study conducted on the Prague tram system has shown 98.9% reliability, the best of the Prague tram system fleet. During its period of production between 1960 and 1999, 13,991 powered units and 122 unpowered trailers were sold worldwide. It became the most dominant tramcar model in Eastern Bloc countries, except for Poland, where locally produced trams from Konstal factory are still the mainstay in tram systems there. Tatra is a Czech vehicle manufacturer from Kopřivnice. It is owned by the ''Tatra Trucks'' company, and it is the third oldest company in the world producing cars with an unbroken history. The company was founded in 1850 as ''Ignatz Schustala & Cie'', in 1890 renamed in German ''Nesselsdorfer Wagenbau-Fabriksgesellschaft'' when it became a wagon and carriage manufacturer. In 1897, Tatra produced the first motor car in central Europe, the Präsident automobile. In 1918, it changed its name to ''Kopřivnická vozovka a.s.'', and in 1919 it changed from the Nesselsdorfer marque to the ''Tatra'' badge, named after the nearby Tatra Mountains on the Czechoslovak-Polish border (now on the Polish- Slovak border). MA Route 17
There have been two state highways designated Route 17 in Massachusetts: *The first Route 17 extended from Great Barrington to the New York state line in the 1930s, and was renumbered as Route 23 in 1939. *The second Route 17 was a portion of U.S. Route 1 in the 1950s. This was due to the U.S. Highway being moved to a freeway from Danvers to Salisbury at the New Hampshire border. The former U.S. Route 1 segment was designated as Route 17 to the state line and NH 17 for a short distance into Seabrook, New Hampshire. Route 14 is a state highway in southeastern Massachusetts. It runs from Route 27 in Brockton east to Route 3A in Duxbury, near the coastline.
