KRYPHSA Football Club is an Indian women's association football, football club based in Imphal, Manipur, that competed in the Indian Women's League. History In 1964, residents of Naoremthong, a locality on the outskirts of Imphal, decided that they needed a club to give exposure for local football talents. Kangchup Road Young Physical and Sports Association was born and along with it, the hopes and dreams of Naoremthong. KRYPHSA is crowd–funded community club. Funds collected from the 3,500 households in the Naoremthong area are used as base for club income, while tambola games, which are held twice a year and are very popular in the Imphal area, also contribute a sizeable amount to the club. Indian Women's League
The Indian Women's League, known as ''Hero Indian Women's League'' for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp is the women's top tier professional football league in Indian football. Founded in 2016, currently a total of 18 teams from across the country will participate in the league from 2022-23 Season. The competition was planned since 2014 and got established in 2016, with the first season starting from October 2016 in Cuttack. The league was launched as India's first professional football league for women with the aim to increase the player pool for India national team. Since 2019–20, the clubs that become champions are granted an opportunity to play in the AFC Women's Club Championship, the top tier women's club football competition in Asia. Rising Student's Club is an Indian professional multisports club based in Cuttack, Odisha, India. The club plays in the FAO League, the fourth tier of Indian football and top tier of Odisha state football. 2019–20 Indian Women's League Season
The 2019–20 Indian Women's League season was the fourth season of the Indian Women's League, the top division women's professional football league in India. The league started from 24 January 2020 and ended on 14 February 2020 with Gokulam Kerala defeating Kryphsa 3-2 in the final to clinch the title for the first time. Twelve teams participated in the league. All the matches were played in Bangalore Football Stadium, Bengaluru. Anju Tamang
Anju Tamang (born 22 December 1995) is an Indian women's international footballer who plays as a forward for Odisha FC and the India women's national team. She joined Gokulam Kerala for 2018–19 Indian Women's League. Early life Anju Tamang was born on 22 December 1995 to Ram Singh Tamang and Kanchi Maya in Birpara in the district of Alipurduar, West Bengal. She is of Sikkimese descent and comes from a family of farmers. She went for schooling at Alagarah High School, Kalimpong and the Scottish Universities’ Mission Institution (SUMI), Kalimpong.
