William Kronick
William Kronick (born 1934) is an American film and television writer, director and producer. He worked in the film industry from 1960 to 2000, when he segued into writing novels. Biography Born to European emigrants, William Kronick grew up in Amsterdam, New York. He attended Columbia College, Columbia University, Columbia College where he was active in the Columbia Players’ stage productions. He also helped form The Gilbert and Sullivan Society at Barnard College. After graduation Kronick was drafted into the U.S. Navy where he became a Photographer's Mate. During a North Atlantic exercise in Stockholm, Sweden Kronick met film and theater director Alf Sjoberg who arranged for Kronick, once out of the Navy, to apprentice with Ingmar Bergman on his next film ''The Magician (1958 film), The Magician''. Richard Kronick
Richard Gray Kronick is an American health policy researcher and professor of family and preventive medicine at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where he is also an adjunct professor of political science. Biography Kronick received his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in political science in 1990. He first joined the UCSD faculty in 1991, and worked as a policy advisor to the Clinton administration in the early 1990s. He joined the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in 2010 as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation. He was the director of the HHS's Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality from August 2013 until March 2016, when he stepped down to return to his position at UCSD. Maury Kaye
Maury (Morris David) Kaye (b. Kronick) (March 29, 1932 – February 2, 1983) was a Canadian jazz pianist and composer. Life Born in Montreal, Quebec, he studied piano 1945–49 at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec, where Arthur Letondal was his teacher. In 1952, at the age of 20, Kaye was the bandleader at the El Morocco, a position he held until 1959. During those years Kaye also performed with his own groups and was a dominant participant on the Montreal jazz scene, as a pianist and also as a valve trombonist or trumpeter in the bands of Steve Garrick, Gilbert "Buck" Lacombe, and others. In his later years, Kaye was active both in Montreal and Toronto. He also toured Europe twice during the 1960s.
