Krom Luang Thepharirak
Somdet Phra Samphanthawong Thoe Chaofa Krommaluang Thep-harirak ( th, สมเด็จพระสัมพันธวงศ์เธอ เจ้าฟ้ากรมหลวงเทพหริรักษ์, 1759–1805), birth name Tan (), was a prince of Siam. He was a nephew of King Rama I. He was known in Vietnamese contexts as Chiêu Tăng (昭曾). Prince Thepharirak was the eldest son of Princess Sri Sudarak (เจ้าฟ้ากรมพระศรีสุดารักษ์) (sister of Phutthayotfa Chulalok) and her Chinese husband Ngoen Saetan (). One of his sisters was Sri Suriyendra. In 1783, Nguyễn Ánh, who was the Nguyễn lord ruled over southern Vietnam, sought aid for Siamese to retake Gia Định (Sai Gon) from Tây-Sơn rebel forces. Chakri Dynasty
The Chakri dynasty ( th, ราชวงศ์ จักรี, , , ) is the current reigning dynasty of the Kingdom of Thailand, the head of the house is the king, who is head of state. The family has ruled Thailand since the founding of the Rattanakosin Era and the city of Bangkok in 1782; following the end of Taksin Thonburi's reign, when the capital of Siam shifted to Bangkok. The royal house was founded by Rama I, an Ayutthaya military leader of Sino- Mon descent. Prior to his accession to the throne, Rama I held for years the title Chakri, the civil chancellor. Chaophraya Aphaiphubet (Baen) ( th, เจ้าพระยาอภัยภูเบศร (แบน), km, ចៅពញាអភ័យធីបែស បែន, ?–1811), also known as Chaofa Talaha (Baen) ( km, ចៅហ្វាទឡ្ហៈបែន, th, เจ้าฟ้าทะละหะ (แบน)) or Chau Hua Pen ( km, ចៅហ្វ៊ាបែន), was a Cambodian officer, later a Siamese governor. The Devahastin family ( th, เทพหัสดิน, ) is a Thai family of royal descent, tracing its origins from Prince Thepharirak, a nephew of King Rama I.
