Kristy Wright (born 14 July 1978; name also erroneously given as Kirsty Wright) is an Australian television and film actress. Biography Wright was born in Sydney, Australia, the oldest child in her family, with three stepbrothers and two half-sisters. Hoping to win a contest for acting lessons, she sent in her photograph and ended up with a full year's paid tuition. Her first part was a guest role in ''Police Rescue''. From 1995 until 1999 she played the part of Chloe Richards in the Australian soap opera ''Home and Away'' and briefly returned to this role in June 2005, when her character died from an embolism resulting from a car accident. Following ''Home and Away'' she starred in ''Chuck Finn'', ''Above the Law (TV series), Above the Law'' and ''Something in the Air (TV series), Something in the Air''. Chloe Richards (also Fraser) is a character (arts), fictional character from the Australian television soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Kristy Wright. She debuted on-screen during the episode airing on 28 June 1995. Chloe left in 1999, making a short return stint in 2005 when she died from the resulting injuries of a car crash. ''White Collar Blue'' is an Australian television series made by Knapman Wyld Television for Network Ten from 2002 to 2003. ''Police Rescue'' is an Australian television series which originally aired on ABC TV between 1989 and 1996. It was produced by ABC and Southern Star Xanadu in association with the BBC. Apart from the 61 episodes, there was a 90-minute pilot episode (first screened in 1989) as well as a feature film in 1994, starring Zoe Carides. The series dealt with the New South Wales Police Rescue Squad based in Sydney and their work attending to various incidents from road accidents to train crashes. The show was very well received for the first four series, however a decline in ratings by the commencement of the 1996 series saw the cancellation of the show, following an almost epitaph in the final three episodes.
