Kristoffer Skjerping (born 4 May 1993) is a Norwegian road racing cyclist, who currently rides for amateur team Kjekkas IF Sykkel. He previoiusly rode professionally between 2012 and 2019 for the , (over two spells) and teams. Biography Born on 4 May 1993, in Bergen, Norway, Skjerping spent his adolescence in Sotra, Norway. Skjerping resides in Gjerdrum, Norway. Between 2012 and 2014, Skjerping competed with , a UCI Continental team. Skjerping signed with , a UCI ProTeam, for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Tour Of Alberta
The ATB Tour of Alberta was a Canadian bicycle stage race, which raced across the province of Alberta. It was sanctioned by Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and was part of the UCI America Tour. It was classified as a 2.1 race, making it one of the highest rated races on the tour. The inaugural tour featured a prologue and five stages, and was held September 3–8, 2013. On February 15, 2018 the Alberta Peloton Association announced that the event was being cancelled. The Czech Cycling Tour is a multi-day road cycling race held annually in the Olomouc region in the Czech Republic. Team Time Trial
A team time trial (TTT) is a road bicycle race in which teams of cyclists race against the clock (see individual time trial for a more detailed description of ITT events). The winning team in a TTT is determined by the comparing the times of (usually) the fourth-finishing rider in each team (though the relevant finish position can be otherwise specified in advance by the race organisers). This means that each team will try to get their first four (at least) riders across the finish line in a tight group: it is actually a disadvantage for any rider to finish far in advance of the fourth rider, as by staying back a faster rider can help the fourth rider to get a quicker time. 2014 UCI Road World Championships – Men's Under-23 Road Race
The Men's under-23 road race of the 2014 UCI Road World Championships took place in and around Ponferrada, Spain on 26 September 2014. The course of the race was with the start and finish in Ponferrada. Following on from countryman Kurt Asle Arvesen in 1997, Sven Erik Bystrøm became only the second Norwegian rider to win the world title. He made a late break on the final climb, with around remaining, and held off the peloton; he ultimately soloed to victory by seven seconds. Norwegian National Time Trial Championships
The Norwegian National Time Trial Championships are held annually. They are a cycling race which decides the Norwegian cycling champion in the time trial discipline, across several categories of rider. The event was first held in 1921 and was won by Ole Moen.
