Kristina Krstic (bowls)
Kristina Krstic (born 15 June 1994) is an Australian international lawn bowler. She represented Australia at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, where she won a gold medal in the pairs. Personal life Krstic attended Mount Lawley Senior High School from 2007 to 2011. Bowls career Krstic, a chiropractor, started bowling at age 10 and won multiple titles at the junior level. She came to prominence after winning the silver medal in the pairs with Karen Murphy at the 2015 Hong Kong International Bowls Classic. She has won four Australian National Bowls Championships medals and four Australian open medals. In 2022, Krstic competed in the women's pairs and the women's fours at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. In the pairs even, with Ellen Ryan, she won the gold medal, defeating England in a tie break final that went down to the last shot of the game. Bowls, also known as lawn bowls or lawn bowling, is a sport in which the objective is to roll biased balls so that they stop close to a smaller ball called a "jack" or "kitty". It is played on a bowling green, which may be flat (for "flat-green bowls") or convex or uneven (for "crown green bowls"). Ellen Ryan (bowls)
Ellen Ryan (born 23 March 1997) is a female Australian international lawn and indoor bowler. Bowls career Ryan made her international debut during the 2017 Australia v England Test Series and won the Australian Open singles and pairs gold medal in 2017. She was the first person to hold both the indoor and outdoor world under-25 singles titles simultaneously. In 2018, Ryan won the Hong Kong International Bowls Classic pairs title with Natasha Scott. The following year in 2019, she won the Australian National Bowls Championships fours. In 2020, Ryan was selected for the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Australia but the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, Ryan competed in the women's singles and the women's pairs at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
