Krisma
Krisma, originally known as Chrisma, was an Italian New wave music, new wave/electronic music duo founded by Maurizio Arcieri (1942–2015) and Christina Moser (1952–2022) in 1976. Career 1976–1979 In 1976, Maurizio Arcieri and his wife Christina Moser formed the duo under the name "Chrisma" in Milan. The name was a combination of their initials. The very same year, the couple moved to London to record "U" and "Amore" with the producer Nico Papathanassiou and his brother Vangelis under the management of Anthony Fawcett. Their collaboration with Papathanassiou and Vangelis continued through 1978 with the album ''Chinese Restaurant (Chrisma album), Chinese Restaurant'' and the single "Lola". In 1979 Arcieri and Moser released their second album, ''Hibernation (album), Hibernation''. 1980–1989 In 1980 the band officially changed its name from "Chrisma" to "Krisma". Maurizio Arcieri
Maurizio Arcieri (30 April 1942 – 29 January 2015) was an Italian singer who was a member of 1960s Italian beat band the New Dada, and 1970s/'80s band Krisma. Career In the spring of 1967, the New Dada supported the Beatles at their Milan concert. The group eventually split. Some members of the New Dada followed Maurizio as supporting group. "Ballerina" and "Il comizio" were released. Maurizio participated at the "Disco per l'Estate" Festival with "Cinque Minuti e poi..."; the song is one of the greatest hits of the year and the leit-motiv of "Quelli belli siamo noi" ("We Are the Beautiful Ones"), a "musicarello" (musical comedy movie) in which Maurizio acts and sings some of his hits. The movie features - among others - Carlo Dapporto, Carlo delle Piane, Isabella Biagini, Ric e Gian and a young Loredana Bertè. ''See You Later'' is an album by the Greek electronic music, electronic composer Vangelis, released in 1980. It breaks quite violently with the style he had employed in the late 1970s and later, relying much more on vocals and being more experimental and returning (in many respects) to his early 1970s work like ''Earth (Vangelis album), Earth'' or ''666 (Aphrodite's Child album), 666''. It was never released in the United States, until it was remastered in 2016 as part of the ''Delectus'' boxset. Renato Abate (born 25 April 1958), best known as Garbo, is an Italian singer-songwriter and record producer. He is considered one of the most important exponents of Italian new wave music. Francesco "Franco" Battiato (; 23 March 1945 – 18 May 2021) was an Italian musician, singer, composer, filmmaker and, under the pseudonym Süphan Barzani, also a painter.
