Krishna Pandit
Krishna Pandit (born 29 August 1998) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward for FC Goa B in the Goa Professional League. Career Pandit was born in Chandigarh, he took his schooling at St. John's High School, Chandigarh, and first went to learn football at the age of 8. Pandit played his first match in under-12 team as a midfielder. Pandit represented his state in national level competitions before being selected to join the AIFF Regional Academy in 2012. Before joining the academy, Pandit was coached by former India international Sanjeev Maria. He was considered very highly rated among most involved with Indian football after he scored eight goals in only five matches during the AFC U14 Festival. Chandigarh () is a planned city in India. Chandigarh is bordered by the state of Punjab to the west and the south, and by the state of Haryana to the east. Manandeep Singh (born 3 November 1992, in Hisar, Haryana) is an indian ex footballer, model and actor who played as a striker for Minerva Punjab in the I-League. Career Pailan Arrows and Air India Singh started his professional career in 2010 with Pailan Arrows (then known as Indian Arrows) of the I-League. While with Arrows Singh scored only one goal which came against Air India on 13 March 2011 in which Singh scored the equaliser for Arrows in a match that Arrows eventually won 5–2. Singh then left Pailan Arrows after one season and signed for Air India for the 2011–12 I-League season. The I-League (known as Hero I-League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp) is the second-tier men's professional football competition of the Indian football league system. It is currently contested by 12 clubs across the country with the winners getting promotion to play in the premier division, the Indian Super League. The competition was founded in 2007 as the successor to the National Football League, with the first season starting in November 2007. The league was launched as India's first ever top-tier professional football league with the aim to increase the player pool for the India national team. 2016–17 I-League
The 2016–17 I-League was the 10th season of the I-League, the top Indian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2007. The season began on 7 January 2017 and concluded on 30 April 2017. Aizawl won their first title on the final day after securing a draw against Shillong Lajong on 30 April 2017. Defending champions Bengaluru FC finished in the fourth place. Dempo had entered the league after being promoted from the I-League 2nd Division but withdrew from the league along with Salgaocar and Sporting Goa. Aizawl were reinstated into the league after being relegated while Churchill Brothers, Chennai City, and Minerva Punjab were granted direct-entry into the I-League.
