Kris Wilson (baseball)
Kristopher Kyle Wilson (born August 6, 1976) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played parts of five seasons in Major League Baseball, one season in Korea, and two seasons in Italy. Amateur career Wilson attended Georgia Tech, and in 1995 and 1996 he played collegiate summer baseball with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League where he was named a league all-star in 1995. Professional career Wilson was drafted in the ninth round of the 1997 Major League Baseball Draft by the Kansas City Royals, for whom he pitched from 2000 to 2003. In Kansas City, he split time between the bullpen and starting rotation with 19 starts. Wilson was signed by the New York Yankees as a fre agent during the 2005 season on May 17, and was assigned to the Triple-A Columbus Clippers. Kris Wilson (American Football)
Kristopher "Kris" Wilson (born August 22, 1981) is a former American football tight end. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Pittsburgh. Wilson has also been a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego Chargers, and Baltimore Ravens. Early years Wilson attended J. P. McCaskey High School. As a senior, he won first-team All-Lancaster-Lebanon Section One honors at both linebacker and wide receiver. He received a full scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Economics. As a redshirt senior, he caught 44 receptions and led all NCAA Division 1-A tight ends with 9 receiving touchdowns, earning a spot as one of three finalists for the John Mackey Award in 2003, which is awarded to the nation's most outstanding tight end. ''Cyanide & Happiness'' (''C&H'') is a webcomic created by Rob DenBleyker, Kris Wilson, Dave McElfatrick and Matt Melvin. The comic has been running since 2005 and is published on the website explosm.net along with animated shorts in the same style. Matt Melvin left ''C&H'' in 2014, and several other people have contributed to the comic and to the animated shorts. The comic and animations use stick figure art to present graphic, dark, and often surreal humor which has been described as "seem ngto have no taste boundaries whatsoever", covering topics such as abortion, suicide, violence, and necrophilia. Real Country is a 24-hour radio format produced by Westwood One. Real Country is marketed at the demographic of men aged 35 to 64. Its programming consists of a fairly broad playlist of "Today's Stars and the Legends." Classic country is the station's primary core, with frequent airplay of artists such as George Jones and Johnny Cash, while the station also plays newer hits, particularly by established neotraditional country artists such as George Strait and Alan Jackson.
