FC Krasnodar is a Russian professional football club based in Krasnodar that plays in the Russian Premier League. The club was founded in 2008. In 2009, the club was promoted to the Russian First Division, the second highest division of the Russian football league system, despite finishing Zone South of Second Division in third. FC Krasnodar-2 (russian: ФК «Краснодар-2» Краснодар) is a Russian football team from Krasnodar, founded in 2013. From 2013 to 2018, it played in the third-tier Russian Professional Football League. It made its debut in the second-tier Russian Football National League in the 2018–19 season. It is a farm club for the Russian Premier League team FC Krasnodar.
