Krane (musician)
Zachary Krane, better known by his stage name KRANE, is an American musical artist, producer and musician from Oakland, CA. Krane is known for his distinct and inventive blend of electronic, hip-hop and dance music. Krane first began releasing demos, remixes and edits on SoundCloud in 2014, under the moniker KRNE. His work caught the attention of music producer TOKiMONSTA, which, in 2015, resulted in their collaborative single release of “Put It Down” featuring Anderson .Paak. In early 2016 the “Debris” album was introduced; a collection of B-Sides from recording sessions with Kehlani, J. Cole, Bryson Tiller and others. This stabled his first packaged release through Fool's Gold Records. Boombox Cartel is a Los Angeles-based DJ act consisting of producer Americo Garcia (of Laredo, Texas) and writing partner, Jorge Medina (of Monterrey, Mexico). History Americo Garcia and writing partner Jorge Medina met while in high school in Monterrey, Mexico. After graduating the two moved to St. Paul, Minnesota to study audio engineering and music production at the now-defunct McNally Smith College of Music. After a brief stint in Minnesota they relocated to Los Angeles, California to further pursue their musical careers. Tame Impala is the psychedelic music project of Australian multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker. In the recording studio, Parker writes, records, performs, and produces all of the project's music. As a touring act, Tame Impala consists of Parker (guitar, vocals), Dominic Simper (guitar, synthesiser), Jay Watson (synthesiser, vocals, guitar), Cam Avery (bass guitar, vocals), and Julien Barbagallo (drums, vocals). The group has a close affiliation with fellow Australian psychedelic rock band Pond, sharing members and collaborators, including Nick Allbrook, formerly a live member of Tame Impala. Steven Zhu, known mononymously as Zhu (; stylized in all caps; born April 28, 1989), is an American electronic music producer and singer who has been active since the beginning of 2014, signed to Mind of a Genius Records. Until mid-2014, Zhu remained anonymous, asking to be judged by his music alone. His debut album, '' Generationwhy'', was released on July 29, 2016 and first premiered at Coachella during his closing set in the Sahara Tent. Louis the Child is an American electronic music group consisting of Robby Hauldren and Frederic J. Kennett. Career Robert David Hauldren was born on September 7, 1996 to David and Julia Hauldren. He attended one academic year at the University of Southern California where he joined the Beta-Sigma chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity before opting to take a leave and further pursue music. Hauldren primarily DJed and made mashups under the alias Haul Pass throughout 2011. Frederic Judson Kennett was born on October 19, 1997 to Jon and Anne Kennett. Big Gigantic are an American instrumental electronic hip hop and jazz musical duo based in Boulder, Colorado. Kamtin Mohager () is an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and graphic designer born in San Jose, California. Raised in Hawaii, and later Colorado, Mohager began pursuing punk rock music in his teenage years. Later inspired by shoegaze and alternative rock bands from the 1990s, he formed the indie electronic project The Chain Gang of 1974. Sajeeb Saha, known professionally as Jai Wolf, is a Bangladeshi-American, New York-based electronic music producer. He is best known for his singles, "Indian Summer", "Like It's Over", and "Starlight". He is currently signed to Mom + Pop Music. Career Saha was born on November 1, 1991 in Bangladesh. ''Victory'' is the fourth extended play by Dutch electronic music record producer San Holo. Canadian independent electronic label Monstercat released the extended play on 25 May 2015. The extended play gathered generally positive reviews and was later accompanied by a remix extended play, released on 17 November 2015.
