Kramatorsk Railway Station Attack
On 8 April 2022, a Russian missile strike hit the railway station of the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The strike killed 60 civilians (including seven children) and wounded more than 110. Russian authorities denied responsibility and blamed the attack on Ukraine. Barvinkove () or Barvenkovo () is a city in Izium Raion of Kharkiv Oblast of Ukraine. A cluster munition is a form of air-dropped or ground-launched explosive weapon that releases or ejects smaller submunitions.
