Kouamé Botué
Jean Fiacre Kouamé Botué (born 10 September 2002) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Veikkausliiga club Inter Turku. Born in the Ivory Coast, he plays for the Burkina Faso national team. Club career Botué started football in the youth sector of Rail Club du Kadiogo in Burkina Faso in 2017. He joined fellow Burkinabé Premier League club US des Forces Armées (USFA) in 2018 and made his senior debut in the league. Botué signed with French Ligue 2 side Ajaccio on 16 February 2021 from USFA in Burkina Faso. Botué made his debut with Ajaccio in a 1–1 Ligue 2 win over Valenciennes on 3 April 2021. On 27 February 2024, Inter Turku in Finnish Veikkausliiga announced the signing of Botue. Coupe De France
The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories. Between 1917 and 1919, the competition was called the Coupe Charles Simon, in tribute of Charles Simon, a French sportsman and the founder of the French Interfederal Committee (the ancestor of the French Football Federation), who died in 1915 while serving in World War I. The final is played at the Stade de France and the winner qualifies for the group stage of the UEFA Europa League and a place in the Trophée des Champions match. Finnish League Cup
The Finnish League Cup was a knock-out association football, football competition contested annually during the pre-season in winter by teams from Veikkausliiga. The league cup was abolished after the 2016 tournament and replaced with the Finnish Cup group stage starting from the 2017 season. League cup will be played again in spring of 2022. 2024 Veikkausliiga
The 2024 Veikkausliiga is the 94th season of top-tier football in Finland, which takes place from April to November. Veikkaus was the league's sponsor. Teams The league consisted of twelve teams; ten teams remaining from the previous season, and two teams promoted from the Ykkönen. HJK entered the season as defending champions. EIF were promoted as champions of the 2023 Ykkönen (returning to the top flight after a 90-year absence), replacing the bottom-placed 2023 Veikkausliiga team ( KTP, relegated after a single-year stint in top flight). The competition is contested by 168 clubs split geographically across 12 groups of 14 teams. The Championnat National 3, commonly referred to as simply National 3 and formerly known as Championnat de France Amateur 2, is a football league competition. The league serves as the fifth division of the French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2, Championnat National, and the Championnat National 2. The 2023–24 Ligue 2, commonly known as Ligue 2 BKT for sponsorship reasons, is the 85th season of Ligue 2. It began on 5 August 2023 and will conclude on 1 June 2024. The 2020–21 Ligue 2 season, also known as Ligue 2 BKT for sponsorship reasons, was the 82nd season of second-division football in France, and the 19th season since the division was rebranded as Ligue 2 from Division 2. Due to the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the announcement of the start and end dates for the season was delayed. There were suggestions that the season would feature just 18 teams, as opposed to the usual 20, after France's highest administrative court overturned the relegations of Amiens and Toulouse from Ligue 1; however, the relegations were reinstated by the General Assembly of the LFP with a vote on 23 June 2020.
