Kotthu
''Kotthu'' () is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language political thriller film directed by Sibi Malayil and written by Hemanth Kumar. It was produced by Ranjith and P. M. Sasidharan. The film stars Asif Ali, Nikhila Vimal, Roshan Mathew, Ranjith and Sreelakshmi in important roles. Jakes Bejoy composed the original score, while Kailas Menon composed the original songs. It also marks the comeback of Sibi Malayil after 7 years. The film received mixed reviews and became a box office average hit. Plot Inspired from many real life incidents, the film tells the life of political party workers from Northern Kerala and their bloodshed to reinvigorate the rebellious nature of the parties and the untouchable party worker status at the cost of lives. Jakes Bejoy
Jakes Bejoy (born 27 May 1984) is an Indian film score composer, music producer, and singer. He predominantly works in Malayalam cinema, but has also worked in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. He started his film musical career as a singer, in the 2012 film ''Second Show'', directed by Srinath Rajendran, starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. ''Angels'' (2014) was his debut film as a music director. Kailas Menon is an Indian film composer who works predominantly in Malayalam films and commercials. After working as a composer for television commercials for more than a decade, he debuted as a composer in feature films with director Jayaraj's ''Pakarnnatam''. His first mainstream release happened much later with ''Theevandi'', for which he earned his first Filmfare Award. Early life Kailas was born in Thrissur, Kerala on 30 May 1986.
