Nina Kotova is an American cellist of Eastern European decent. As well as being a versatile artist and an established composer she is a recording artist who performs both as a soloist with major orchestras and as a chamber musician. Education Kotova studied at the Moscow Conservatory, at the Musikhochschule in Cologne, and in the USA, giving her first performance as a soloist with orchestra at the age 11 and graduating summa cum laude. Oleg Kotov
Oleg Valeriyevich Kotov (russian: Олег Валериевич Котов) was born on 27 October 1965 in Simferopol, Crimean oblast in the Ukrainian SSR. After a career as a physician assigned to the Soviet space program, he joined the Russian cosmonaut corps. He has flown three long duration spaceflights on the International Space Station logging over 526 days in space. Most recently, Kotov flew on the Soyuz TMA-10M/ Expedition 37/Expedition 38 long duration spaceflight, from September 2013 until March 2014. Alexander Alexandrovich Kotov (Алекса́ндр Алекса́ндрович Ко́тов; – 8 January 1981) was a Soviet chess grandmaster and author. He was a Soviet chess champion, a two-time world title Candidate, and a prolific writer on the subject of chess. Kotov served in high posts in the Soviet Chess Federation, and wrote most of his books during the Cold War. Tatiana Nikolaevna Kotova (russian: Татьяна Николаевна Котова; born 3 September 1985) is a Russian singer, actress, and television personality. She is the winner of the title Miss Russia 2006 and former soloist of Ukrainian female pop group ''Nu Virgos''. In 2006 she won the title of Miss Russia and had the opportunity to represent Russia in the contests Miss World 2007 and Miss Universe 2007. Tatiana was one of the favorites in the Miss Universe 2007, but did not reach the semi-finals. Konstantin Aleksandrovich Kotov (russian: Константин Александрович Котов; born 22 February 1985) is a Russian software engineer and political activist. In September 2019, he was sentenced to four years in prison for participating in unsanctioned protests and was declared a prisoner of conscience by Amnesty International. Tatyana Vladimirovna Kotova (russian: Татьяна Владимировна Котова, born 11 December 1976) is a track and field athlete who competed for Russia in the long jump. Her personal best jump of 7.42 m at Annecy in 2002, is the best distance achieved by a female long jumper in the 21st century (as of 2020). Kotova won bronze medals in the event at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games. She won three consecutive silver medals at the World Championships in Athletics from 2001 to 2005, also taking bronze in 2007. She had even greater success indoors, where she won the World Indoor Championships on three occasions, in 1999, 2003 and 2006, as well as finishing as runner-up in 2001 and 2004.
