Kotoko (musician)
Kotoko (stylized as KOTOKO, born January 19) is a Japanese J-pop musician, singer and songwriter from Sapporo, Hokkaido. She began her singing career in 2000, debuting as a member of the Trance music, trance group I've Sound and releasing her first mini-album ''Sora o Tobetara'' that same year. She was then signed to the Geneon Universal Entertainment, Rondorobe record label from 2004 to 2010, under which she released the albums Hane (Kotoko album), ''Hane'', ''Garasu no Kaze'', ''Uzu-Maki'' and ''Epsilon no Fune''. She signed to Warner Home Video in 2011, and remained with the label until 2018. She is currently signed with NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan. Kotoko composes and writes lyrics (for herself as well as other singers in I've Sound) for numerous other song collections. ''Kotoko'' is a 2011 Japanese film by director Shinya Tsukamoto. It is based on an original story by J-pop artist Cocco, who stars in the film alongside Tsukamoto. Plot Suffering from double vision, a single mother (Cocco) tries to take care of her baby in the grip of terrifying hallucinations. Experiencing a nervous breakdown, she is deemed unfit to take care of her child and has it taken away from her. The only respite the mother has from her visions is when she sings. An award-winning novelist (Tsukamoto) overhears her singing whilst riding the bus and the pair subsequently develop a volatile relationship. This is a list of the main characters from the manga and anime series ''Chobits'' by Clamp. The series tells the story of Hideki Motosuwa, who finds an abandoned ''persocom'', or personal computer with human form, that he names Chi after the only word she initially can speak. As the series progresses, together they explore the mysteries of Chi's origin and questions about the relationships between humans and persocoms. Kotoko Kingdom
The Kotoko kingdom was an monarchy in what is today northern Cameroon and Nigeria, and southwestern Chad. Its inhabitants and their modern descendants are known as the Kotoko people. The rise of Kotoko coincided with the decline of the Sao civilisation in northern Cameroon. A king headed the nascent state, which came to assimilate several smaller kingdoms. Among these were Kousséri, Logone-Birni, Makari, and Mara. Kotoko spread to parts of what is today northern Cameroon and Nigeria, and southwestern Chad by the mid-15th century. Logone-Birni emerged as the most influential of Kotoko's client kingdoms. The Kanem Empire brought northern Kotoko into its sphere of influence early on. Through the actions of missionaries and conquerors, most of northern Kotoko had converted to Islam by the 19th century. Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, simply known as Asante Kotoko, is a professional football club founded on 31 August 1935 and based in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
