Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu
Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu (Kannada:''ಕೋತಿಗಳು ಸಾರ್ ಕೋತಿಗಳು'') () is a 2001 Indian Kannada comedy film directed by Rajendra Singh Babu. The film stars Ramesh Aravind, S. Narayan, Mohan, Prema, Tara and Urvashi in the lead roles. This is the second film in the ''Saar'' series directed by Babu and was released on 28 December 2001 and received generally positive reviews from the critics and turned out to be a box office hit. It completed a 100-day run in theatres. The film was remade in Telugu as ''Sandade Sandadi'' (2002), in Hindi as ''Shaadi No. 1'' (2005) and in Bengali (Bangladesh) as ''Tomakei Khujchi'' (2008). Plot Three friends; Rammi, Nani and Moni, vexed with their wives Urvashi, Prema and Tara decide to take a mass suicide. But they end up saving a businessman who was also attempting suicide. Kannada
Kannada (; ಕನ್ನಡ, ), originally romanised Canarese, is a Dravidian language spoken predominantly by the people of Karnataka in southwestern India, with minorities in all neighbouring states. Umashree
Umashree (born 10 May 1957) is an Indian actress and politician. She is known for her portrayal of film roles spoken in the Kannada language (over 400), particularly comic roles. She received National Film Award for Best Actress for her role as Gulabi in the 2008 Kannada movie Gulabi Talkies. In 2013, Umashree became a Member of the Legislative Assembly in Karnataka in the government of Siddaramaiah where she was the minister for women and child development, empowerment of the differently abled and senior citizens, Kannada language and culture. Malgudi Subha (born 17 October 1965; also spelled as Malgadi Shuba) is an Indian playback singer. She has recorded songs in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. Nanditha (born 28 February 1978) is an Indian singer. Best known as a playback singer in the Kannada film industry, she sings in other languages such as Tamil and Telugu. Nanditha began her playback career from the film ''Habba'' (1998). Since then, she has won numerous awards including the Karnataka State Film Awards and Filmfare Awards South for her singing.
