Kosta Grozos
Kosta Grozos (born 10 August 2000) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a central midfielder for Newcastle Jets. Career Western Sydney Wanderers In 2017, Grozos was awarded the Wanderer's NPL Player of the Year having scored 11 goals in 13 games for the Youth team in their NPL NSW 2 campaign. Grozos was part of the 2017-18 Y-League championship winning Western Sydney Wanderers Youth team. He played the full game as they beat Melbourne City Youth 3–1 in the 2018 Y-League Grand Final on 3 February 2018. On 7 August 2018, Grozos made his professional debut in a Round of 32 FFA Cup clash with Hellenic Athletic, starting the game before being withdrawn for Nick Fitzgerald in the 26th minute due to an injury, the Wanderers going on to win the match 4–3. Kingsgrove, New South Wales
Kingsgrove is a suburb in Southern Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Kingsgrove is south of the Sydney central business district and lies across the local government areas of the City of Canterbury-Bankstown, Bayside Council and the Georges River Council. History Governor Philip King granted 500 acres (2 km²) in 1804 to Hannah Laycock (1758-1831), the wife of Quartermaster Thomas Laycock (1756-1809). She named the farm King's Grove in Governor King’s honour. This was later simplified to Kingsgrove. The area would be now bounded by Kingsgrove Road, Bexley Road and William Street. Governor King made Thomas Laycock an officer of merit and recommended him to fill the vacancy an ensign in the New South Wales Corps. Nicholas John Fitzgerald (born 13 February 1992), is an Australian professional soccer player who plays for Sydney Olympic Playing career Club career Fitzgerald grew up on Sydney's Hills Shire and played with several local clubs before playing for Blacktown City Demons in their youth teams. He was signed by the Central Coast Mariners in the A-League for their youth team, and was promoted into the senior team for their round 27 clash against Wellington Phoenix at Westpac Stadium. National Youth League (Australia)
A-League Youth, formerly known as the National Youth League and Y-League, is an Australian national soccer youth developmental and under-21s league, founded by Football Federation Australia and now run by the Australian Professional Leagues. The current league was established as a successor to the previous competition of the National Youth League (1984–2004) and commenced in August 2008. The league runs in conjunction with the A-League Men as a developmental or reserve league. The league, as well as the A-League Men and A-League Women are administered by the Australian Professional Leagues. In 2020 it was contested by ten teams, all of which competed in the A-League. From the 2020–21 season, the league was to expand to eleven teams with the introduction of Western United, however the season was cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia.
