Kosovo Olympic Committee
The Olympic Committee of Kosovo ( sq, Komiteti Olimpik i Kosovës, sr, Олимпијски комитет Косова / ''Olimpijski komitet Kosova'') is the National Olympic Committee representing Kosovo. Officially established in 1992, the OCK became a full member of the International Olympic Committee and the Olympic Movement on 9 December 2014. It is responsible for Kosovo's participation at the Olympic Games. History The Olympic Committee of Kosovo (OCK) was officially established in 1992 and acknowledged as the highest sports institution in Kosovo in 2003 by the Law on Sports (Law No. 2003/24) passed by the Assembly of Kosovo. The United Nations-led administration in Kosovo previously established a working group to engage with the IOC to allow athletes to participate in the Olympic Games. A sovereign state or sovereign country, is a polity, political entity represented by one central government that has supreme legitimate authority over territory. Loriana Kuka
Loriana Kuka (born 5 April 1997) is a Kosovan judoka. She won Judo Grand Prix in Tbilisi (2019), Tashkent (2018) and Antalya (2018). She represented Kosovo at the 2019 European Games in Minsk and won the bronze medal in 78 kg. She won the bronze medal in the 2019 World Championships in Tokyo In 2021, she won one of the bronze medals in her event at the 2021 Judo World Masters held in Doha, Qatar. She competed in the women's 78 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She won the gold medal in the women's 78 kg event at the 2022 Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria.
