Kosi Thompson
Kosi Trevor David Thompson (born January 27, 2003) is a Canadian soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Toronto FC in Major League Soccer. Early life He began playing soccer with in the Vaughan Azzurri youth system. In February 2015, at age 12, he joined the Toronto FC Academy. As part of the TFC Academy, he helped them to the 2019 U16 Dallas Cup and was named to the 2019-20 Generation Adidas Best XI. In 2020, he signed a national letter of intent to attend Oregon State University and play for the Beavers men's soccer team for the 2021 season. However, he ultimately did not join Oregon State, turning professional instead. Thompson attended Ursula Franklin Academy. Career On May 13, 2021, he signed his first professional contract with Toronto FC II of USL League One to join the team for the 2021 season. North Texas Soccer Club is a professional soccer club playing in the MLS Next Pro, a third division league of American soccer. The team is owned by, and operates as the reserve team of the Major League Soccer club FC Dallas. 2021 Toronto FC II Season
The 2021 Toronto FC II season was the seventh season in the club's history and sixth in play. The club returned to competition in USL League One after withdrawing from the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions in Canada, Toronto FC II would begin the season playing home matches in the United States, playing their first three home matches at Grande Sports World in Casa Grande, Arizona before relocating to Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida. 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship
The 2022 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship will be the 7th edition of the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship (28th edition if all eras included), the men's under-20 international football tournament organized by CONCACAF. It will be hosted in Honduras, in the cities of San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa. On 16 September 2021, a new format was announced, in which 19 member associations (all ranked 17 and below in the CONCACAF men’s under-20 rankings) will have to play a qualifying tournament that will take place from 5 to 13 November 2021 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Canada Men's National Under-20 Soccer Team
The Canada U-20 men's national soccer team (also known as Canada Under-20s or Canada U-20s) represents Canada in international soccer at this age level. They are overseen by the Canadian Soccer Association, the governing body for soccer in Canada. It plays a large role in the development of Canadian soccer, and is considered to be the feeder team for the Canada men's national soccer team.
