Korring
Orring (Korring) is an Upper Cross River language spoken by the Oring people in Nigeria. Related dialects Dialects are classified under a particular community. Dialects are named by prefixing the community name with the letter K. Eteji (Ntezi) speak K'eteji, Lame (Okpoto) speak Ki'lame, Idzem (Amuda) speak K'idzem, Okpolo (Opkomoro) speak K'okpolo, Uffium( Effium) speak K'uffium in Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Ufia (Utonkon) in Benue State speak K'ufia. Ukelle, in Cross River State, speak K'ukelle. Amuda People
The Amuda people, also known as the Idzem people, are a subgroup of the Orring ethnolinguistic group in the southeastern Nigeria state of Ebonyi. Ebonyi State
Ebonyi State ( ig, Ȯra Ebonyi) is a state in the South-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria, bordered to the north and northeast by Benue State, Enugu State to the west, Cross River State to the east and southeast, and Abia State to the southwest. Abakaliki
Abakaliki is the capital city of Ebonyi State in southeastern Nigeria, located southeast of Enugu. The inhabitants are primarily members of the Igbo nation. It was the headquarters of the Ogoja province before the creation of the Southeastern State in 1967. Etymology The name Abakaliki originally means 'Aba Nkaleke' and is the name of a community in Izzi land (Nkaleke). History Abakaliki was an important center for the slave trade in the 17th century.
