Korey Stringer
Korey Damont Stringer (May 8, 1974 – August 1, 2001) was an American professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons. He played college football at the Ohio State University and was recognized as an All-American. He was drafted in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. On August 1, 2001, Stringer died from complications brought on by heat stroke during the Vikings' training camp in Mankato, Minnesota. Korey Jones (born April 4, 1989) is a former professional Canadian football linebacker. He first enrolled at Garden City Community College before transferring to the University of Wyoming. He attended Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colorado. Korey Banks (born August 7, 1979) is a former Canadian football defensive back. He was most recently a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. He played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Professional career NFL In 2003, he signed as an undrafted rookie with the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League.
