David Kopp (born 5 January 1979, in Bonn) is a former German road racing cyclist, who competed as a professional between 2001 and 2011. Kopp's speciality was sprinting and the cobbled classics of Belgium. Kopp started his pro career with in 2001 before moving to smaller German teams for 2004 and 2005. In 2006, he returned to top level cycling with for two years before moving to Pro Continental team Cycle Collstrop in 2008. Johann Heinrich Kopp
Johann Heinrich Kopp (17 September 1777, in Hanau – 28 November 1858, in Hanau) was a German physician and natural scientist. He was the father of chemist Hermann Franz Moritz Kopp (1817–1892). He studied medicine at the universities of Rinteln, University of Marburg, Marburg and University of Jena, Jena, obtaining his habilitation in 1801. He briefly worked as a doctor in Rödelheim, then settled as a physician in his hometown of Hanau. From 1807 he served as a professor of chemistry, physics and natural history at the lyceum in Hanau. Viktor Leontievich Kopp (russian: Виктор Леонтьевич Копп) (, in Yalta – 24 March 1930, in Berlin) was a Russian diplomat active in Germany from 1918 to 1921, and later in Japan, and Sweden. From a middle class family, Kopp became involved in revolutionary circles as a student, and became a professional revolutionary after being expelled from the Kharkov Technological Institute in 1900. Before the Russian Revolution, Kopp was a Menshevik. James Charles Kopp (born August 2, 1954) is an American who was convicted in 2003 for the 1998 sniper-style murder of Barnett Slepian, an American physician from Amherst, New York who performed abortions. Prior to his capture, Kopp was on the FBI's list of FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, Ten Most Wanted Fugitives. Elisabeth Kopp (born 16 December 1936, in Zürich) is a Swiss politician and the first woman elected to the Swiss Federal Council (1984–1989). Biography Elisabeth Kopp grew up in Bern. After finishing her law studies in 1960, she married Hans W. Kopp (1931–2009). In 1969, she was elected to the district council (''Gemeinderat'') of Zumikon and, from 1972, she served on the education council (''Erziehungsrat'') of the canton of Zürich. She was president of Zumikon from 1974 until her election as a federal councillor in 1984.
