Koothara
''Koothara'' () is a 2014 Malayalam-language coming of age film directed by Srinath Rajendran and written by Vini Vishwa Lal. It stars Mohanlal, Bharath, Sunny Wayne, and Tovino Thomas The story, set in an untold period, focuses on three engineering students, Koobrin (Bharath), Tharun (Tovino Thomas), and Ram (Sunny Wayne), and their adventures during college time and post-college life. The film was produced by Shahul Hammeed Marikar under the banner of Marikar Films and distributed by UTV Motion Pictures. The original songs and background score were composed by Gopi Sundar. Vini Vishwa Lal
Vini Vishwa Lal ( ml, വിനി വിശ്വ ലാൽ) is an Indian screenwriter who works in Malayalam cinema. Vini's debut movie was Second Show(2012) directed by Srinath Rajendran(debut) . Its also the first movie of Dulquer Salman, Sunny Wayne and Gauthami Nair in their acting career. His next film Koothara starring Mohan Lal, Tovino Thomas, Bharath and Sunny Wayne in the lead released in June 2014. In 2015 Starring Pournami a road trip movie starring Sunny Wayne and Tovino Thomas was penned by Vini. The film later dropped due to some budget issues. His latest movie Theevandi released on 7 September 2018, starring Tovino Thomas and Samyuktha Menon. Vini also played acting roles in Malayalam movies, first in Ladoo followed by Theevandi and Kalki. Sudheesh Pappu (1977/1978 – 14 November 2022), professionally credited mononymously as Pappu, was an Indian cinematographer who worked in Malayalam cinema. Early life Pappu was born in Thrippunithura, Ernakulam, Kerala. He was schooled in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ernakulam. Career Pappu began his career by assisting cinematographer Rajeev Ravi in films such as ''Chandni Bar'' (2001), ''Sesham'' (2002) and ''Dev.D'' (2009), and subsequently made his debut as an independent cinematographer with the Malayalam crime film ''Second Show'' in 2012.
