''Kootathil Oruthan'' () is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language coming-of-age romantic comedy film, written and directed by T. J. Gnanavel. The film stars Ashok Selvan and Priya Anand. Ashok Selvan is an Indian actor who works prominently in Tamil cinema. He made his breakthrough playing one of the lead roles in ''Soodhu Kavvum'' (2013), before gaining critical acclaim for his performances in C. V.
