Konstantin Grachov
Konstantin Nikolayevich Grachev (russian: Константин Николаевич Грачёв; born 17 April 1927) is a retired Russian sprinter. He competed at the 1956 Summer Olympics and 1960 Summer Olympics in the 400 m and 4 × 400 m events, but failed to reach the finals. During his career Grachev won seven Soviet titles and one European title in the 400 m. After retiring from competitions he moved to Dnipropetrovsk Dnipro, previously called Dnipropetrovsk from 1926 until May 2016, is Ukraine's fourth-largest city, with about one million inhabitants. The 1956 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XVI Olympiad, were an international multi-sport event held in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, from 22 November to 8 December 1956, with the exception of the equestrian events, which were held in Stockholm, Sweden, in June 1956. These Games were the first to be staged in the Southern Hemisphere and Oceania, as well as the first to be held outside Europe and North America. The 1960 Summer Olympics ( it, Giochi Olimpici estivi del 1960), officially known as the Games of the XVII Olympiad ( it, Giochi della XVII Olimpiade) and commonly known as Rome 1960 ( it, Roma 1960), were an international multi-sport event held from 25 August to 11 September 1960 in Rome, Italy.
