Konobar
"Konobar" ("Waiter") is the first single recorded and released by the Serbian new wave band Električni Orgazam. It was released in 1981 by Jugoton. The song also appeared on the band's debut album and several various artists compilations. The track is actually the first ever song written by the band. History Hipnotisano Pile members gathered one evening in the "Mornar" Kafana in Belgrade and decided to form one more band. The band would feature Hipnotisano Pile members but they would play different instruments. The lead vocalist was chosen to be Srdjan Gojkoviċ Gile who was the band's drummer. The first appearance the band was to have at Palilula Guitar festival, so the band had to write and prepare some material within a month. Električni Orgazam ( sr-cyr, Електрични Оргазам, lit=Electric Orgasm, translit=) is a Serbian rock band from Belgrade. Originally starting as a combination of new wave, punk rock and post-punk, the band later slowly changed their style, becoming a mainstream rock act. They were one of the most notable acts of the former Yugoslav rock scene. "Dokolica" ("Boredom") is the second single recorded and released by the Serbian new wave band Električni Orgazam. It was released in 1982 by Jugoton Jugoton was the largest record label and chain record store in the former Yugoslavia based in Zagreb, SR Croatia. History Jugoton was formed in 1947. Svi Marš Na Ples!
''Svi marš na ples!'' (meaning in Serbo-Croatian language: Everybody dance now!) is a compilation album released by Jugoton in 1981 in SFR Yugoslavia. The compilation features various pop and rock artists, mostly from the local new wave scene. At the time of their appearance on this compilation, all of the tracks have already been released on their respective bands' studio albums by the same label. Additionally, all of the bands that appear on it already achieved considerable notability and prominence. Therefore, unlike some previous Jugoton's various artists compilations that tried to affirm and highlight different up-and-coming groups, this one had a strictly commercial character. The compilation's title is a line from the chorus of the ska song "Ha, ha, ha" by Bijelo dugme from their album '' Doživjeti stotu''. Šarlo Akrobata ( sr-Cyrl, Шарло Акробата; trans. ''Charlot the Acrobat'', a Serbo-Croatian language version of Charlie Chaplin's name in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia) were a seminal Serbian new wave/post-punk band from Belgrade. Short-lived but extremely influential, in addition to being one of the most important acts of the Yugoslav new wave scene, the three piece left an indelible mark on the entire music scene of former Yugoslavia.
