Jean Koning
Jean Paul Koning (born 19 April 1976) is a Dutch actor, director, musician and author. In the early 1990s, Koning was a model in the Amsterdam gay scene, performed as a Theatre, stage actor, and played in an industrial avant-punk band called !JP, which released numerous albums. Koning is known for his outspoken views and generally sarcastic nature. Despite his traditional actor training by Piet Teeling at the Children Theatre Academy and at the Kimball Institute, he is considered to be a method actor, known for his constant devotion to and research of his roles. In his acclaimed book ''Visions'', he writes about his personal life in both Amsterdam and New York. Describing political issues, disappointing love affairs and drug abuse, in a witty voice, With ''Visions'' Koning reached a widespread audience. Hans Koning (born Hans Königsberger, since 1949 officially Hans Konigsberger; July 12, 1921 – April 13, 2007) was a Dutch author of over 40 fiction and non-fiction books, was also a prolific journalist, contributing for almost 60 years to many periodicals including ''The New York Times'', ''International Herald Tribune'', ''Atlantic Monthly'', ''The Nation'', '' Harper's'', ''The New Yorker'', and ''De Groene Amsterdammer''. Jan De Koning (politician)
Jan de Koning (31 August 1926 – 8 October 1994) was a Dutch politician of the defunct Anti-Revolutionary Party (ARP) and later the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) party and social geographer. De Koning joined the Dutch resistance against the German occupation in September 1943 and was at the time barely 17-years old. Following the end of World De Koning volunteered and enlisted in the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army as a Corporal serving in the Dutch East Indies from August 1945 until June 1948. De Koning studied Social geography at the Utrecht University obtaining a Master of Social Science degree. Hans de Koning (; born 5 April 1960) is a Dutch professional football manager and former player. De Koning played as a goalkeeper. Playing career De Koning played for AZ'67 for ten years, before moving to Twente, where he became known as "''Hansje de King''" (Hans the King) and played 140 games in five seasons with the club. Jan de Koning (born October 7, 1949, in Amsterdam, Netherlands) is a Dutch footballer, scout and manager. He played as a forward. After working as assistant technical director at Liverpool F.C.'s Academy, he now scouts for Portsmouth F.C. in Europe. Hendrik Elle "Henk" Koning (7 June 1933 – 31 December 2016) was a Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and economist. Koning attended the Praedinius Gymnasium in Groningen from April 1946 until May 1952 and applied at the National Tax Academy in Rotterdam in June 1952 and simultaneously applied at the Leiden University in July 1952 majoring in Tax law and obtaining a Bachelor of Laws degree in June 1954 before graduating with a Master of Laws degree in July 1958. Coen De Koning
Coen de Koning (30 March 1879 – 29 July 1954) was a speed skater and cyclist. He started his sports career as a cyclist, but switched to speed skating and became the second Dutch speed skater to win a world title, in 1905. He finished second in 500 m, and won the 1500, 5000 and 10,000 m events. De Koning won the national all-around title in 1903, 1905 and 1912, and set national records in the 500 m and 10,000 m in 1905; these records stood until 1926 and 1929. Christina Koning is a novelist, journalist and academic. Life Koning was born in Kuala Belait, Borneo, and spent her early childhood in Venezuela and Jamaica. After coming to England, she was educated at Girton College, Cambridge and the University of Edinburgh – the setting for her first novel.
