Konakalla Narayana Rao
Konakalla Narayana Rao (born 4 May 1950) is an Indian politician, who worked for the Telugu Desam Party. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Machilipatnam (Lok Sabha constituency), Machilipatnam constituency in Andhra Pradesh in the 2009 and 2014 elections. He belongs to the Goud community. He is often associated with many social and cultural activities and is known to organize theater competition in the native town of Machilipatnam. Before politics Konakalla Narayana Rao began his career as a contractor before transitioning to agriculture. He has worked to improve the working conditions of the local fishermen community and scheduled tribes in Machalipatnam. For the last 30 years, he has been the President of the National Mazdoor Trade Union at the RTC Depot of Machilipatnam (Krishna district, Krishna District). Machilipatnam
Machilipatnam (), also known as Masulipatnam and Bandar, is a city in Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a municipal corporation and the administrative headquarters of Krishna district. It is also the Tehsil, mandal headquarters of Machilipatnam mandal in Machilipatnam revenue division of the district.
