Kona Prabhakar Rao
Kona Prabhakara Rao (10 July 1916 – 20 October 1990) was an Indian politician. He was a member of the Indian National Congress party and was elected four times as Member of the Legislative Assembly From Bapatla (Assembly constituency). Early life and education Kona Prabhakar Rao was born in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, into a wealthy Telugu Niyogi Brahmin family in Bapatla. He did most of his schooling in Bapatla. At the age of 16, Rao conducted a boycott of schools when late Motilal Nehru died. He was a social and political worker and took active part in the Salt Satyagraha movement and Quit India Movement of 1942. In Bapatla he organised a youth league and promoted the use of khadi. A keen sportsman, Rao was tennis champion of the Bombay University in 1938. He organised the Shivaji Vyayam Mandali at Bapatla and some other places. A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) is a representative elected by the voters of an electoral district (constituency) to the legislature of State government in the Indian system of government. From each constituency, the people elect one representative who then becomes a member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Each state has between seven and nine MLAs for every Member of Parliament (MP) that it has in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's bicameral parliament. There are also members in three unicameral legislatures in Union Territories: the Delhi Legislative Assembly, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and the Puducherry Legislative Assembly. Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy
Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy (16 August 1920 – 27 September 2001) served as the chief minister of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh in 1983 and then from 1992 to 1994. Reddy was a member of the Indian National Congress and was elected to the Lok Sabha six times. Reddy also served as a Union cabinet Minister, along with serving on several parliamentary committees. He lost the 1999 elections and subsequently retired from active politics. Botanical Garden in Hyderabad is named after him. Early life Reddy was born in the remote village of Laddagiri in the Kurnool district to the family of a landlord. He began his involvement in politics at Nandyal gram panchayat and eventually became involved in the national level. Bhavanam Venkatarami Reddy
Bhavanam Venkatrami Reddy (18 July 1931 – 7 April 2002) was the chief minister of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh (AP) between February 1982 and September 1982. He was a member of the Congress party and served as cabinet minister in various AP governments. His active carrier in politics started in 1970s. He started his political career as a Youth Congress activist. From there he reached the position of Member of Legislative Assembly later became education minister in Chenna Reddy's cabinet in 1978. He also served in the cabinet of Tanguturi Anjaiah before becoming chief minister on 24 February 1982. He only served as the chief minister for a brief period, until 19 September 1982, representing Indian National Congress. He died on 7 April 2002 after brief illness. Drohi () is a 1948 Telugu-language drama film directed by L. V. Prasad. This was the debut film for Pendyala Nageswara Rao as music director. The plot Saroja (Varalakshmi), daughter of Zamindar Gangadhar Rao (Rallabandi), is an arrogant woman. She loves Raja Rao (Kona Prabhakar Rao), who assists her father in instituting wrong things. He accidentally kills an old man while driving her car. Dr. Prakash (Prakash Rao) provides shelter to his granddaughter Seetha (Lakshmirajyam).
