Kometal Gjorce Petrov Skopje
WHC Gjorche Petrov ( mk, Ракометен Клуб Ѓорче Петров) is a female handball club based in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. History The club was founded in 1979 under the name ''Women's Handball Club Gjorče Petrov''. Kometal Gjorče Petrov stopped its work on 16 September 2011 when the central committee decided that there was no conditions for operation and existence. After a while the club started to work again.It was shut for couple of years but it started working again, without its brand-mark Kometal. Now it works under its original name WHC Gjorche and competes in Macedonian women's First League of Handball. *Kometal Days For a decade the team played in the Macedonian National league, starting from lower ranks step by step year by year reaching the top division. Eduarda Idalina "Duda" Amorim Taleska (born 23 September 1986) is a Brazilian handball player for CSM București. She was voted World Handball Player of the Year 2014 by the International Handball Federation. In an election made by the website Handball Planet, one of the most important in the Duda modality was elected as the best player in the world of the decade (2011/2020). Luminița Dinu
Luminița Dinu (née Huțupan; born 6 November 1971 in Piatra Neamț) is a Romanian handball player. She is considered a handball legend in Romania. She received a silver medal at the 2005 World Championship and was named goalkeeper of the All-Star Team. In January 2011, Dinu was chosen the best female goalkeeper ever in a fans' poll carried out by the International Handball Federation by collecting more than 7000 votes (nearly 94%). For her services to the team and the city, and her exemplary sportsmanship conduct, Dinu was made Honorary Citizen of Râmnicu Vâlcea in 2010. Indira Kastratović
Indira Kastratović, née Jakupović ( mk, Индира Кастратовиќ; born 2 October 1970) is a Macedonian handball player. She is considered as one of the best Macedonian female handball players in history and one of the best right backs in the world. In the 1997 World Women's Handball Championship she helped the Macedonian women's handball team to reach 7th place by scoring 71 goals the most at that years championship.
