Kombihallen
Kombihallen is an indoor arena for association football in Malmö, Sweden. The main purpose of the arena is for football training when outdoor training is discouraged due to bad weather or snowfall. The arena has an area of 4,000 Km² with artificial turf. The main playing field can be used as one big field with an area of 60 x 42 metres or three minor playing fields with 18,5 x 42 metres area. The arena is owned by Malmö Stad and is mostly used by Malmö FF as part of the club's pre-season training when cold weather conditions prevents outdoor training. The area is also used by IFK Malmö and other various minor football clubs in the Malmö area. Stadionområdet (''The stadium district'') is an area in Malmö, Sweden. The area is the home of two major stadiums, an ice hockey arena, an indoors arena, and several training facilities for association football, ice hockey and track and field sports. Venues Training facilities The area features several training facilities for numerous sports. Most notably the area features five football fields that are located south of Stadion (Malmö), Stadion. Two of these fields are fitted with artificial turf and located on the south side of Stadiongatan from the rest of the area. The fields are primarily used by Malmö FF, IFK Malmö, and various minor football clubs. Indoor football facilities are located in Kombihallen, which is located southeast of Stadion. Malmö Municipality
Malmö Municipality ( sv, Malmö kommun), or City of Malmö (''Malmö stad''), is a Swedish municipality in Skåne County, the southernmost of the counties of Sweden (and conterminous with the historical province (''landskap'') of Scania). Artificial turf is a surface of synthetic fibers made to look like natural grass. It is most often used in arenas for sports that were originally or are normally played on grass. However, it is now being used on residential lawns and commercial applications as well. The main reason is maintenanceartificial turf stands up to heavy use, such as in sports, and requires no irrigation or trimming.
