Irina Kolesnikova (Russian: Ирина Владимировна Коле́сникова; born 1980) is a Russian ballet dancer. She is the prima ballerina of the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre. Biography She graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in 1998, class of Elvira Korkorina, and after being rejected by the Mariinsky Ballet, Kirov and Mikhailovsky Theatre, she joined the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre (SPBT), where she was taught by Svetlana Efremova. With this corps, she has toured internationally, playing mostly Odette/Odile in Swan Lake.
