Kokkedal
Kokkedal () is the municipal seat of Fredensborg Municipality and a northern settlement in the urban area of Hørsholm, located on the coastline of northern Zealand, Denmark, between the two towns, Nivå and Hørsholm, 30 km north of Copenhagen. The settlement is connected with the Oresundtrain towards Helsingør to the north and Copenhagen to the south, with extensions to Malmö and other major cities in southern Sweden. History Kokkedal was previously the seat of Karlebo Kommune until the reform of the Danish Municipalities and Regions in 2007, as a result of the Municipal Reform in 2007 ( Kommunalreformen (2007)). Kokkedal Station
Kokkedal Station is a railway station serving the suburb of Kokkedal on the east coast of North Zealand, north of central Copenhagen. The station is located on the coast between Helsingør and Copenhagen. The train services are currently operated by the railway company DSB Øresund which runs a frequent Oresundtrain service between Helsingør and Copenhagen with some services continuing on to Malmö and other destinations in southern Sweden. Bus Links There are currently five bus routes which operate out of the station (30/10/2017), of which two are S-buses, two are local services and one is an R-bus. Hørsholm
Hørsholm () is an urban area on the Øresund coast approximately north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It covers most of Hørsholm Municipality and straddles the borders neighbouring Fredensborg Municipality and Rudersdal Municipality. Hørsholm proper is developed around Hirschholm Palace, which was constructed in the 1730s, but the town has later absorbed several of the nearby communities that are of much older origins. History Palace and market town Hørsholm was founded in connection with the construction of Hirschholm Palace. Niels Eigtved created a plan for a residence town in 1737 and to stimulate its growth, it was given status as market town in 1739. However, it never came to serve as a market town and was still only a small settlement when the palace was demolished between 1810 and 1816. Mads Giersing Valentin Pedersen (born 1 September 1996), usually known as Mads Mini or Mads Valentin, is a Danish professional footballer who plays for Bundesliga club FC Augsburg. Club career FC Nordsjælland Valentin was promoted to the first team squad in the summer of 2015, at the age of 19 and got his contract extended. Michael Mørkøv
Michael Mørkøv Christensen (; born 30 April 1985) is a Danish professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He is the brother of racing cyclists Jacob and Jesper Mørkøv. Career Born in Kokkedal, Mørkøv started as a track cyclist, becoming national champion in the points race in 2004. In the 2008 Olympic games, he won the silver medal in the team pursuit. Oliver Kjærgaard (born 2 May 1998) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Eliteserien club HamKam. Club career Lyngby BK Kjærgaard got his debut at the age of 17, on 8 December 2015 against AB in the Danish Cup, that Lyngby won 3-0. Miss Earth 2011
Miss Earth 2011, the 11th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on December 3, 2011 at the University of the Philippines Theater, inside the campus of the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City, Philippines. Nicole Faria of India crowned her successor Olga Álava of Ecuador at the end of the event. The show was aired live by Channel V at 8:00 pm, while Star World broadcast on Sunday, 4 December at 6:00 pm, ABS-CBN and Studio 23 broadcast on the same day at 10:30 pm. There was also a delayed telecast of the show on The Filipino Channel and on the television stations of other participating countries. The pageant was originally scheduled to be held at the Impact, Muang Thong Thani in Bangkok, Thailand, however the pageant organizers decided to move the pageant back to the Philippines due to the 2011 Thailand floods. Karlebo Kommune
Karlebo Kommune was until 1 January 2007 a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Frederiksborg County on the east coast of the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 40 km², and had a total population of 19,163 (2005). Its last mayor was Olav Aaen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Kokkedal. Other towns in the municipality were Kirkelte, Karlebo, Gunderød, Avderød, Hesselrød, Vejenbrød, and Nivå. Fredensborg Kommune is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Hovedstaden (Capital Region). The municipality covers an area of 112.13 km2 and has a total population of 39,551 (as of 1 April 2014).
