Anu Koivisto
Anu Elisa Koivisto (born 9 May 1980) is a 2-time Olympic swimmer from Finland. She swam for Finland at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics. During her swimming career, she swam to multiple Finnish championships and national records. At the 1996 Olympics she was part of Finland's women's 4×100 Medley Relay, alongside Mia Hagman, Minna Salmela, and Marja Pärssinen. Mauno Koivisto
Mauno Henrik Koivisto (; 25 November 1923 – 12 May 2017) was a Finnish politician who served as the ninth president of Finland from 1982 to 1994. He also served as the country's prime minister twice, from 1968 to 1970 and again from 1979 to 1982. He was also the first member of the Social Democratic Party to be elected as President of Finland. Early life Koivisto was born in Turku as the second son of Juho Koivisto, a carpenter at Crichton-Vulcan shipyard, and Hymni Sofia Eskola, who died when he was 10. After attending primary school, Koivisto worked a number of jobs, and at the beginning of the Winter War in 1939 joined a field firefighting unit at the age of 16. During the Continuation War, Koivisto served in the Infantry Detachment Törni led by Lauri Törni, which was a reconnaissance detachment operating behind enemy lines. Taimi Tellervo Koivisto ( Kankaanranta; born 2 January 1929), is a Finnish politician and the former First Lady of Finland from 1982 to 1994. Koivisto is the widow of the 9th President of Finland Mauno Koivisto and a former member of the Finnish parliament, representing the Social Democratic Party of Finland. Life Koivisto was born to a farmer's family in the Western Finnish municipality Punkalaidun, in the Satakunta region. After finishing the primary school, Koivisto went to a high school in Huittinen, where she graduated in 1949. Tom Koivisto (born 4 June 1974) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenceman who last played for Jokerit in the SM-liiga. He was drafted by the St. Louis Blues as their eighth-round pick, 253rd overall, in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He played parts of ten seasons in the SM-liiga before coming to North America in 2002. Koivisto spent most of two seasons in the American Hockey League but appeared in 22 National Hockey League games with the Blues in 2002–03. Toni Koivisto (born 5 November 1982 in Ylitornio) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey forward. His career spanned 21 seasons and was played in top leagues in Finland, Sweden, and Russia. Playing career A native of Ylitornio, in Finnish Lapland, Koivisto moved to Rauma as a teenager in 1998 to play for Lukko, as northern Finland lacked an SM-liiga team at that time. After one year spent with the Lukko junior-A team, Koivisto debuted in the SM-liiga in the 1999–2000 season, although he still split his time between the adult and the junior teams. In 2000, Koivisto appeared in the U18 World Championships and won the gold medal with Team Finland. Nokia Revival (also known as Nokia Missio) is a charismatic Christian movement originating in Finland in the town of Nokia. The starting point of the movement was in 1991, when Markku Koivisto, the vicar of Nokia Lutheran Church, experienced a strong charismatic renewal, having recovered from cancer of the lymph gland in 1990. Koivisto started to arrange so called ''Thursday Nights'' which were characterised by strong emotional worship, loud prayer and various manifestations of the Holy Spirit e.g. healings of the sick, spiritual gifts and falling down during prayer.
