Kohei Tanaka (composer)
is a Japanese composer, arranger, conductor and singer-songwriter. He is affiliated with the music production company Imagine. He has created numerous musical scores for anime television series, OVAs, films, video games and ''tokusatsu'' series including ''Gunbuster'', ''Sakura Wars'' and ''One Piece''. Biography Tanaka was a student at Berklee College of Music. While employed playing the piano in a hotel lounge, he was requested to arrange a song in '' Arcadia of My Youth: Endless Orbit SSX'', a 1982 TV anime, and it became his first work as a composer. Afterwards, he produced some songs and arrangements for the Super Sentai series and his first work as a lead composer was for the television anime ''Konpora Kids'' in 1985. Notably, the background music in ''Gunbuster'' made his name and talent very famous among anime fans and is recognized as one of his most important works. Brave Exkaiser
is a Japanese animated television series produced by Sunrise. The series is directed by Katsuyoshi Yatabe and written by Yasushi Hirano with both character and mecha designs done by Masayuki Hiraoka and Kunio Okawara respectively. It aired on Nagoya TV from February 3, 1990, to January 26, 1991, compiling up to 48 episodes. ''Exkaiser'' is the first installment in Takara and Sunrise's ''Brave series'' franchise, spanning up to 8 separate installments. is a Japanese manga series created by Fujiko Fujio. The manga began as a one-shot series serialized in Shogakukan's '' Big Comic'' magazine on 1968, later becoming a full-fledged series published by Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha's '' Manga Sunday'' magazine from 1969 to 1971. The manga tells the story of a salesman named Moguro Fukuzou, whose job is to help people fill gaps in their soul. A feature film sequel, , was released in March 1989. Plot D'Artagnan leaves his hometown in the province of Gascony for Paris, in order to join the King's Musketeers or the Guards of the Cardinal. Maps (manga)
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuichi Hasegawa. It was serialized in the Gakken magazine ''Monthly Comic Nora'' from 1985 to 1994. The series was adapted into two anime original video animations (OVAs): the 1987 original, fully titled in Japan, and the 1994 remake, simply titled ''Maps''. Plot ''Maps'' follows a normal Earth boy named Gen. He and his girlfriend Hoshimi meet Lipmira, a scantily-clad blonde woman from outer space, who tells Gen that he is the "mapman," meaning the map to a great treasure is coded in his genes.
