Koh Nai Kwong
Datuk Wira Koh Nai Kwong () is a Malaysian politician of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), a major party in Malaysia's governing Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. Koh was the Member of Parliament for Alor Gajah constituency, in Malacca after his election in the 2013 general election. Koh is a lawyer by profession. He obtained his LLB (Hons) law degree from the University of Wales. Koh was the Legal Adviser for Barisan Nasional for the state of Melaka 2006–2011. He was also the former Melaka State Executive Council (Exco) Member for the portfolio of housing, local authorities, environment and transportation. Koh is the Chief of MCA Bukit Katil Division, Melaka. He won in the 2004 general election to be a Malacca State Legislative Assemblyman for the constituency of Kesidang, Melaka during the 2004 to 2008 term. Alor Gajah is a federal constituency in Alor Gajah District and Jasin District, Malacca, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat since 1974. 2018 Malaysian General Election
The 2018 Malaysian General Election, formally known as the 14th Malaysian General Election (), was held on Wednesday, 9 May 2018, for members of the 14th Parliament of Malaysia. At stake were all 222 seats in the Dewan Rakyat (the legislature's lower house) and 505 seats in 12 out of the 13 state legislative assemblies of Malaysia. 2008 Malaysian General Election
A general election was held on Saturday, 8 March 2008 for members of the 12th Parliament of Malaysia. Voting took place in all 222 parliamentary constituencies of Malaysia, each electing one Member of Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. State elections also took place in 505 state constituencies in 12 out of 13 states (excluding Sarawak) on the same day. Goh Leong San
Goh Leong San () (born 15 November 1967) is a Malaysian politician. Goh is a former Malacca State Legislative Assemblyman (MLA) for several Malacca state constituencies; Tengkera (1995-2004), Bandar Hilir (2004-2008), Kesidang (2008-2013) and Duyong (2013-2018). Presently Goh is an independent politician after his resignation from Democratic Action Party (DAP) in 2017. He was previously the state chairman for Malacca and also Central Executive Committee member for DAP. Early life and education Goh was born on 15 November 1967 in Malacca. His name, Leong San, literally means "Hero of Mount Liang" in Chinese, a name that also was used in the famous Chinese classical novel ''Water Margin.'' Democratic Action Party
The Democratic Action Party (abbreviation: DAP; ms, Parti Tindakan Demokratik; ; ta, ஜனநாயக செயல் கட்சி) is a Centre-left politics, centre-left social democracy, social democratic political party in Malaysia. A general election was held on Sunday, 21 March 2004 for members of the 11th Parliament of Malaysia. Melaka State Executive Council
The Malacca State Executive Council is the State Executive Council (or EXCO) as executive authority of the Government of Malacca, Malaysia. The Council comprises the Chief Minister, appointed by the Governor on the basis that he is able to command a majority in the Malacca State Legislative Assembly, a number of members made up of members of the Assembly, the State Secretary, the State Legal Adviser and the State Financial Officer.
