Kobuletian
Kobuleti ( ka, ქობულეთი ) is a town in Adjara, western Georgia, situated on the eastern coast of the Black Sea. It is the seat of Kobuleti Municipality and a seaside resort, visited annually by Georgians and many former Soviet Union residents. It is especially popular with Armenian tourists. Kobuleti Municipality
Kobuleti ( ka, ქობულეთის მუნიციპალიტეტი) is a district of Georgia, in the autonomous republic of Adjara. Its main town is Kobuleti. Since 1921, the municipality's territory has been included in the Kobuleti Mazra of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. In 1930, it was formed as a separate district. In 1962-64, it was included in the Chakvi district, with the centre in the Chakvi borough. On April 7, 1964, the Chakvi district was abolished, and the Kobuleti district was re-established with the centre in the city of Kobuleti. This administrative status was maintained until the restoration of Georgia's independence. Since 2006, after the legislative reform of the self-government system, Kobuleti district has been renamed Kobuleti municipality. Kintrishi Strict Nature Reserve
Kintrishi Strict Nature Reserve ( ka, კინტრიში) is a protected area in Kobuleti Municipality, Adjara region of Georgia in the upper part of the Kintrishi River at an altitude of 300–2,500 meters above sea level between the village of Tskhemvani (Tskhemlovana) and Khino Mountain in the Meskheti Range. It was established in 1959 to preserve relict humid forests and wetlands, in addition to its high number of endemic and threatened flora and fauna. Because of the ancient forests and high biodiversity within the nature reserve, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2021 as part of the Colchic Rainforests and Wetlands site. Jano Ananidze ( ka, ჯანო ანანიძე, ; ; born 10 October 1992) is a Georgian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Spartak Moscow Ananidze appeared in Spartak Moscow colours in spring of 2009, initially playing for its junior's team, scoring four goals in twelve games. Kakhaber Nodarovich Mzhavanadze ( ka, კახაბერ ნოდარის ძე მჟავანაძე; born 2 October 1978 in Kobuleti, Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Georgia) is a Georgian former football defender. Career Kahaber over his career has played for Shukura Kobuleti, Dinamo Batumi, both in Georgia. In 2001, he moved to Russian giants Spartak Moscow, although appearing only 6 times for the club he was part of the league winning team that season. He moved to Anzhi the next season and had an extended spell with them. He joined FC Chornomorets Odesa, in January 2006. Nino Katamadze
Nino Katamadze ( ka, ნინო ქათამაძე; born 21 August 1972) is a Georgian jazz singer and artist. Biography Nino Katamadze was born in Kobuleti, Adjara, Soviet Georgia in 1972. In 1990, she entered the vocal department of the Batumi Music Institute ZP Paliashvili. After finishing the Institute was in various groups and participated in a variety of musical projects. In 2002, Katamadze had her first international tour in different countries across Europe. In 2006, her album "White" became very successful and was released in Georgia, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Ukraine, France, Germany, Italy and the UK. Sales exceeded 700,000 copies. In January 2010, she played a part in an improvised opera "Bobble" with a wordless libretto written by Bobby McFerrin and staged in Russia. Kobuleti Managed Reserve
Kobuleti Managed Reserve ( ka, ქობულეთი) is a protected area in Kobuleti Municipality, Adjara region of Georgia along the Black Sea coast in the northern part of the resort town Kobuleti. ''Kobuleti Protected Areas'' were established in 1998 to preserve unique wetland ecosystems recognized by the Ramsar Convention. ''Kobuleti Protected Areas'' include Kobuleti Managed Reserve and Kobuleti Strict Nature Reserve located on left and right banks of Shavi Ghele (''black creek'') river respectively. Geography Reserve has flat surface with minor erosion by the rivers of Shavi Ghele and Togoni and by a few water drains. It is apeat bog, consisting mainly of peat moss with hardly noticeable surface elevations which are called locally ''peat domes''. These minor elevations rise 1–3 m above it surroundings. The Kintrishi National Park ( ka, კინტრიშის დაცული ლანდშაფტი) is a protected landscape in Kobuleti Municipality, Adjara, Western Georgia, located at the gorge of the Kintrishi River and was established in 2007. ''Kintrishi Protected Areas'' include Kintrishi National Park and Kintrishi Strict Nature Reserve which was first established in 1959. Ochkhamuri River
Ochkhamuri ( ka, ოჩხამური ) is a small town ('' daba'') on the Ochkhamuri river in Adjara, Georgia, with the population of 5,355 as of the Georgian census of 2014. Geography Ochkhamuri is located on the banks of the Ochkhamuri river, at 12 m above sea level.
