Andrei Knyazev (mathematician)
Andrew Knyazev is an American mathematician. He graduated from the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University under the supervision of Evgenii Georgievich D'yakonov (russian: Евгений Георгиевич Дьяконов) in 1981 and obtained his PhD in Numerical Mathematics at the Russian Academy of Sciences under the supervision of Vyacheslav Ivanovich Lebedev (russian: Вячеслав Иванович Лебедев) in 1985. He worked at the Kurchatov Institute between 1981–1983, and then to 1992 at thMarchuk Institute of Numerical Mathematics(russian: :ru:Институт вычислительной математики имени Г. И. Artem Knyazev
Artem Knyazev (russian: Артём Князев; born 16 May 1980) is an Uzbekistani former pair skater. He competed for much of his career with Marina Aganina. They became the 2004–05 Uzbekistani national champions and competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics. Career Knyazev competed with Irina Galkina at the 1997 and 1998 World Junior Championships. They parted ways at the end of the 1997–98 season. In 1998, Knyazev began a two-season partnership with Irina Shabanova. The pair placed eighth at the 1999 Four Continents Championships and ninth in 2000 Four Continents. They trained in Pervouralsk, Russia. Knyazev teamed up with Marina Aganina in 2000. The pair was coached by Petr Kiprushev in Pervouralsk. In the 2005–06 season, Knyazev began helping coach himself and Aganina. Olga Nikolaevna Knyazeva (russian: Ольга Николаевна Князева; 9 August 1954 – 3 January 2015) was a Soviet foil fencer. She won a team gold medal at the 1976 Olympics and placed ninth individually. She also won four gold and two silver medals at the world championships between 1973 and 1978. Knyazeva took up fencing in 1966 and between 1972 and 1978, was a member of the Soviet national team. In 1975 she won the World Cup, the European Team Cup, and the team world title, and was named best female fencer of the year by the Fédération Internationale d'Escrime. Helena Nikolaevna Knyazeva (russian: Елена Николаевна Князева, born 23 December 1959) is a Russian philosopher of science, complex systems scientist, scholar of synergetics, and translator into Russian of the works of Ilya Prigogine, Edgar Morin, and others. Andrei Nikolayevich Knyazev (russian: Андрей Николаевич Князев; born 25 September 1974) is a former Russian professional football player. Career Knyazev began playing football with local side FC Metallurg Magnitogorsk. In 1995, he had a brief spell playing the Russian Top League with FC KAMAZ-Chally Naberezhnye Chelny, scoring one goal in seven league matches. Boris Knyazev (russian: Борис Князев; 1 July 1900 in Saint Petersburg, Russian Empire – 7 October 1975 in Paris) was a Russian ballet dancer and choreographer. Biography Boris Knyazev was born July 1, 1900, Saint Petersburg, Russian Empire. He studied at the St. Petersburg Theater School from 1914 to 1917, class of Kasyan Goleizovsky and Mikhail Mordkin.
