Knut Bøhn
Knut Bøhn (1926 – 1985) was a Norwegian businessperson and judge. He graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1951, and after a period as deputy judge in Holmestrand from 1953 to 1955 he was hired in Nora Fabrikker. He worked here from 1955 to 1958 and 1962 to 1975, last as CEO. He was appointed as a judge in Fredrikstad City Court in 1979 and presiding judge in Eidsivating Court of Appeal in 1982. Holmestrand
is a List of towns and cities in Norway, town in Holmestrand Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. The town is the administrative centre of the municipality. It is located along the shore of the Ytre Oslofjord, about northwest of the Horten (town), town of Horten and about south of the village of Sande i Vestfold. Nora Fabrikker
Nora Industrier was a Norwegian company, most of its history involved in manufacturing of soft drinks and foodstuffs. It traced its history back to the brewery St. Halvard Bryggeri, established in Pilestredet in 1877. It originally brewed beer only, from 1882 soda as well. In 1918 the brewery relocated, changed its name to Nora Fabrikker and made soda its main product. It was owned by the beer breweries Frydenlund, Schou and Ringnes. In 1978 Nora Fabrikker was the largest soda producer in Norway. Since 1953 the company was also involved in other foodstuffs. In 1978, Nora Fabrikker merged with Frydenlund Schous Bryggeri (a meantime merger) and Ringnes to form Nora Industrier. It involved itself in several non-food fields, buying Helly Hansen in 1985, Bjølsen Valsemølle and Idun Gjærfabrikken in 1986 and Nidar in 1987. Fredrikstad District Court
Fredrikstad District Court () was a district court in southwestern Østfold county, Norway. The court was based in Fredrikstad. The court existed until 2021. It had jurisdiction over Fredrikstad Municipality and Hvaler Municipality. Cases from this court could be appealed to Borgarting Court of Appeal. The court was a court of first instance. Its judicial duties were mainly to settle criminal cases and to resolve civil litigation as well as bankruptcy. The administration and registration tasks of the court included death registration, issuing certain certificates, performing duties of a notary public, and officiating civil wedding ceremonies. Eidsivating Court Of Appeal
The Eidsivating Court of Appeal () is one of six courts of appeal in the Kingdom of Norway. The Court is located in the city of Hamar, with jurisdiction over the Eidsivating judicial district (), comprising the counties of Innlandet, Østfold, and most of Akershus (except for Lunner Municipality and Jevnaker Municipality). It can rule on both civil and criminal cases that are appealed from one of its subordinate district courts. Court decisions can, with limitations, be appealed to the Supreme Court of Norway. Kolbotn is an Urban areas in the Nordic countries#Urban areas in Norway, urban area in Norway's Nordre Follo municipality in Akershus county.
